I recently had the opportunity to dine at India Rosa in Griffintown , and let me tell you, it certainly lived up to the hype. Prior to my visit, I had heard nothing but positive reviews about this place, so naturally, my expectations were set quite high. Well, I can confidently say that I was not disappointed. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was greeted by a decor that can only be described as a work of art. The ambiance was simply enchanting, with the aroma of authentic, mouthwatering Indian cuisine wafting through the air. This was no ordinary Indian restaurant; it had a unique American twist that added a delightful touch to the overall experience.
Let's start with the cocktails, shall we? It's not often you come across an Indian restaurant that serves alcohol, but this unexpected addition only added to the charm and created a distinct atmosphere. The cocktail selection was truly one-of-a-kind, featuring exotic drinks with a touch of sophistication. Each sip was a journey in itself, a testament to the attention to detail and high-quality ingredients used.
Now, onto the food. As I mentioned earlier, the cuisine here is an Americanized version of traditional Indian dishes. But let me assure you, every bite was nothing short of delectable. I opted for a variety of traditional Indian tapas, and each plate left me licking my fingers in satisfaction. However, the star of the show was undoubtedly the grilled lamb chops. The combination of tender meat and the perfect blend of Indian spices created a flavor explosion that left me craving more.
Now, I will say that the prices were a tad on the higher side. But let's be honest, if you want to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine without any unfortunate trips to the bathroom, you have to expect a higher price point. And in this case, it was worth every penny. The whole experience, from the incredible food to the stunning decor, was a true testament to their commitment to providing a memorable dining experience.
In conclusion, I absolutely loved everything about this restaurant. The concept of offering exceptional food, a captivating decor, and excellent service truly won me over. I wholeheartedly give it two thumbs up and would highly recommend it to anyone in search of an unforgettable dining experience.

Je ne suis jamais allé au India Rosa sur Wellington mais je connais celui sur Mont-Royal depuis plusieurs années déjà et je peux attester que c’est une excellente cuisine. Mon seul point négatif est que je trouve les portions un peu minimales.
I find the one on Mont Royal better actually, both the food and ambiance.

Amazing food to my taste. Fantastic cocktails, but only down side is they only have bio wine, which I really don't like. Perhaps I just haven't yet found one I could enjoy.
I'm really enjoying what these young chefs are putting out (Plaza Montreal, bar St-Denis, Salle climatisé, vin mon lapin, etc...)
