Same thing happened to the Nazis in 1941 when they invaded

It's confirmed:
The Russian guided-missile cruiser Moskva rests deep beneath the Black Sea this morning. Ukraine claims that it hit Moskva with missiles, causing it to sink. Russia has insisted the reason for the sinking was a fire.

Putin always tells the truth o_O
I think what the Russians are saying is the Cruiser did not sink due to the missile strike itself, but rather a fire that started well after the missile strike. This would be a different situation than the USS Oklahoma, on which my Grandpa served as a gunner, being sunk at Pearl Harbor. It sank on fire after being hit by torpedoes and listing and then being hit by a second round of torpedoes, after which this happened (ship capsized and sank):

One blackened body had arms raised in supplication, the face contorted in a horrible scream.
The skull of another had a bullet hole in the left temple.
The small blackened foot of a child could be seen in the tangle of charred bodies piled together in Bucha, the town outside of Kyiv where graphic evidence of killings and torture has emerged following the withdrawal of Russian forces.

The six burned and blackened corpses were just the latest gruesome scene to emerge from Bucha as world leaders push for Russia to be held accountable, including for possible war crimes.

It was not clear who the people were or under what circumstances they were killed.

The pile of bodies, seen by Associated Press journalists Tuesday, was just off a residential street, near a colorful and empty playground, visible to passersby as they warily went outdoors to collect aid.

Around the corner
World's Largest Yacht, Owned By Putin Ally, Seized By Germany
Great maybe they can sell it and use the money to buy some cheap Russian oil.
Very disappointed in the way Germany has reacted to this war then again I feel the same with all NATO countries, standing buy and watching thousands dying needlessly how many deaths and atrocities will it take before they do the right thing, what will be their excuse when the war reaches the Baltic countries.

It's a real joke when the only thing that the US can do is resort to stealing/seizing other people's money and assets with the excuse that they are guilty by association! Even worse when you resort to pick on female teenagers of russian oligarchs! How much lower can you get!
It's worse than highway robbery!
The Americans will pay a heavy heavy price for this!

TROSTYANETS, Ukraine, April 16 (Reuters) - The handmade sign on the gate warns "The cemetery is mined. Danger." but residents of the formerly occupied town of Trostyanets in northern Ukraine still come to visit the fresh graves of family killed in the war.

The graveyard in this town in Sumy region has only been partly made safe since Russian forces planted mines there as they pulled back in early April, cemetery manager Olena Matvienko said.

One of the biggest dangers of this war is the message it will send to other countries that have intent to invade and take over their smaller neighbors.
China and Taiwan is the most obvious but there are some others on 3 continents. If Russia gets its way then we can expect other wars....copycat wars.

Russia has urged the last defenders of the Ukrainian port city of Mariupol to lay down their arms. They gave a deadline of early on Sunday morning.
Small groups of fighters have been holding out in a steel plant in the city.
Elsewhere, Russia launched missiles into the capital Kyiv, and stepped up shelling attacks against the city of Kharkiv.

By entrusting General Aleksandr Dvornikov with reviving the Russian invasion of Ukraine, President Vladimir Putin has chosen to bet on an officer who has proven himself in the war in Syria with bloodthirsty tactics that have earned him the nickname of "butcher of Syria".

Here's a girl in a TANK firing her GUN - what spirit!!!

I wonder if Bonnie Tyler is alive and she knows her track still getting people to ROCK

FYI: she's the gunner for a tracked artillery piece (@ 0.27 you can see the gun is angled @ 45 degrees) - basically a big gun mounted on a tank, that fires indirectly. At least 30 km from the action so not in immediate danger.

In the modern warfare she is in immediate danger. After firing a few shells, the firing position is usually automatically geolocated and can be fired upon by a similar gun or a drone loitering in the vicinity of the front line.
