Russian authorities launched a murder investigation Sunday into the car bomb killing of the daughter of an influential ally of President Vladimir Putin.

Darya Dugina, the daughter of Russian war mastermind and Putin “spiritual advisor” Alexander Dugin, died instantly late Saturday night when a bomb went off inside her father’s Toyota Land Cruiser, according to Russian state media.

“An explosive device, presumably installed in the Toyota Land Cruiser, went off on a public road and the car caught fire.
The female driver died at the scene,” investigators said in a statement to TASS. “All possible versions of the crime are being probed into.”

She’s not that innocent. Not that long ago she went on a talkshow on Russian tv and said that Ukrainians are not human and that they all deserve to die. I just saw a clip of that interview. She also was a peddler of disinformation claiming that Russian attacks on the Ukrainian people & cities were fake news & staged by Ukraine & the West. The more i read about her she reminds me of a Russian Alex Jones. What an awful person she was! Karma’s a bitch!

It wouldn’t surprise me if the hit was ordered from within Russia by people fed up with Putin’s genocide & who want to put an end to his murderous regime. It also wouldn’t entirely surprise me she was also targeted in the hit. She, like her evil father also had accumulated a long list of enemies.

Here is an image of the Toyota Land Cruiser ablaze after the bomb was detonated. There are some pretty good bells and whistles on the newer Toyotas, but unfortunately for Darya, there is no dashboard light that lets you know a bomb has been planted in the car, although there are lights that warn you of various other issues with the vehicle. However, Toyota now offers the Camry in an AWD model, something Honda has chosen not to do with any of their sedans (you cannot get an Accord or Civic with AWD and it is absolutely infuriating to drivers in the northern climates). You have to get a Honda SUV to get an AWD vehicle. And their SUVs are dogs. Any of you guys ever test drive the CR-V? What a piece of shit that car is. Has something like 140 hp- weakest SUV out there- and it feels like you are driving a golf cart. The Land Cruiser is a much better SUV although clearly, this one has seen better days and probably cannot be salvaged.

It’s really too bad to see such a beautiful vehicle go up in flames. Darya not so much. I’ve owned a Toyota vehicle for the past two years & it’s the best vehicle i’ve ever owned. Best purchase i’ve ever made! I used to be big on Honda vehicles in the past having owned both Honda & Acura vehicles but two years ago when i was shopping for an suv the Honda CRV hadn’t impressed me very much plus all the reports of problems with their turbo engines in colder climates made me turn towards a Toyota brand of vehicle instead. Anyways it was sad to see such a nice vehicle explode & go up in flames.

The Russian people have never had a history of self determination or independence. It's always been ruled by a powerful few: from the czars to the CCCP to current Putin. Indeed difficult to break free from centuries of oppression and "strong-man" rule.

Really makes me shake my head at those on the right who clamor for a "strong-man" to take control and make "XYZ" great again.

President Volodymyr Zelensky says the death toll has risen to 22 people in Wednesday’s attack on the Chaplyne train station in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

“Chaplyne is our pain today. As of this moment, there are *22 dead, five of them burned in the car, a teenager died, he was 11 years old, a Russian rocket destroyed his house. Search and rescue operations at the railway station continue.
We will definitely make the occupiers answer for everything they have done. And we will certainly throw out the invaders from our land,” he said.

The attack occurred on the Chaplyne train station and at least 50 people were injured. Earlier in the day, Zelensky said he expects the number of injured to increase.
