I don't know if this is the right place to do so, but I wanted to share a displeasant (and expensive) experience I had recently on the site Whatsyourprice
I'm aware it's a huge risk on those sites and was careful, just a tad too naive.

The girl - her profile is under "Cindy" in Mtl - is a pretty good scammer. She will meet in person for a "first date" and after really short time, make up excuses "feeling sick" and leave.
Then plan another, to make up for the last time, but same thing "her ride is early".
Then plan a week-end with relations, ask for transfert in advance (I sent half and asked to pay the rest cash, but she then proceeded to grab the money and run, literally, to an accomplice waiting in a nearby car).

Did anyone have similar experience, or good ones, from this site - or suggestions for a better place.

Have a great day!

I am sorry this happened to you. First excuse was plausible, second one made the first one not so credible.

What made you believe/trust her enough to plan a whole weekend with her?

I believe men use that website to save money and not pay escort fees. Was it worth it?

Thanks for your reply

We had frequent text exchanges and a couple calls over a 2-3 months period.

It wasn't to "not pay" more like searching for a more personnal experience. Can't say it was worth anything, I ended up more lonely, as I tought I made at least a little connexion with her just to be played.

With this type of site , the best way is PPM . You can’t build trust to the girl after fews text and call..! I did one mistake one time and never again ..!!

Sorry to hear about your experience but I wouldn't trust a dating site that looks like the CVS' website design.

The first two excuses should have been a warning sign. It's like on a blind date and you have someone call 30 min in and if you are not wanting to stay poor aunt Ethel just died.

I sometimes meet girls from there. Once they ask for payment in advance I report them and get my credit back. However if you take the chat offsite they will not refund you.

So many fish in the sea, no need to send them $ upfront. IMO.

How do you spend "credits" on this website ? Is it one credit per message or something ?

85% of the profiles of women on the Whatsyourprice platform are fake… this proportion is so huge that the platform has to be complicit.

Basically, when you make an offer that is accepted you receive a first message that required you to spend « credits » that you paid before in order to open your offer acceptance and start a conversation. So if you make proposal to fake profile and open it, you spend your credits for nothing.

Since I started to report the fake profiles, I receive a lot of unsolicited offer acceptance for which I had never made an offer.

So Whatsyourprice is basically a scammer

Yes the site is slow and the same faces keep coming up over and over. Most are fakes but some are real. I found several profiles that were also on Seeking. Being on both sites gave me a little more confidence that they were for real and I did have some great meets so far with girls that were on both. The scam that I stepped into was with girls on whatsyoutprice that just want to meet to scam you out of the 1st date money and offer.nothing in return. This girl was on both sites but we chatted on whatsyourprice and agrees on a 1st date price. We meet at a very expensive coffee shop of her choosing where she proceeded to order the.most expensive desert anf drink on the menu. After finishing lunch we stepped out and she then asked me for the 1st date.money we agreed upon with promises of going back to her place. Sounded reasonable but as soon as she got the cash , she ran across the street and jumped into a car that obviously was waiting for her. Not my 1st rodeo and should have seen it coming. Very careless of me. Got too comfortable So bottom line I was out the date money and restau bill. Could have used the $$ for a nice hour at Euphoria . Stay away from thi site, not worth the time

How are these girls outrunning you guys to cars? Are you meeting track stars? Personally if someone pulled that on me i would run them down and beat them like they were a man, the reason this stuff happens? Too many guys letting them do it with zero repercussion

Yes the thought crossed my mind but then the thought of a public fight and someone recording or calling LE told me to take a chill pill.

Are you serious, getting scammed out of money is a learning experience and it is on you and basically happens to every man in his life, only shame is if you don’t learn from it.
Beating up a woman is never a thing to do and is never warranted unless she has a weapon and your life is in danger.
Seriously you would beat up a woman because she scammed you out of a couple of hundred bucks, if you are not prepared to lose some money or have a bad experience sometimes in this game whether it is with SB or escorts then you shouldn't be in it.

I was scammed once, payed up front for a 2hour session ( to a long time Merb advertiser no less) who said she needed the money for rent because her and her daughters would be evicted. We Dm a couple of times, I didn’t have time that day for a session so I drove to a restaurant, paid for the session, her drinks and lunch and gave her a $100 gift certificate to Bota Bota so she could have a nice day,, had a quick coffee and left.

Session was to be sometime in the upcoming week. Never happened. She has disappeared since then ,I hope she is doing ok with her daughters.
I couldn’t care less, a couple of hundred bucks is not going to put me in a different tax bracket and whether it was a scam or she actually needed the money I will never know. I will look at it as hopefully the money helped her, but I will never pay up front for a session to be held sometime in the future again,

I am dead serious, its on you to allow yourself to become a crime victim? Ive heard some white knight type talk before but this seriously takes the cake man. I agree with hitting females for the most part but that man/woman stuff goes out the window when she turns it into criminal/crime victim. The situation your talking about is different she stiffed you, im not saying you should go hunt her down in that instance, but if she openly grabbed your $ and tried to run off then i already told you how that should be handled.

There is such a thing as reporting a crime to the police.
Hitting women is not justified in any case in my book unless your life is in danger.
I will walk away and take the loss, a couple of hundred bucks means nothing to me.

Glad your in a position to wipe your ass with 100 dollar bills, must be nice, but in reality its not about the numeration to me, its my life, i get $ by working hours, that $ is HOURS of my life that i spent doing shit i didnt wanna be doing, not spending leisure time, not fun time, not resting time, not spending time with family or friends, you wanna let some skank rob portions of your life just so u can pat yourself as some sort of “gentleman”? Have at it MARK.

Glad you have such remarkable respect for women. We all work hard for our money me included, however I would much rather lose money than hit a woman. I don’t need to pat myself on the back, I am very comfortable with who I am.
What are you trying to prove by beating up a woman, if this is your way of dealing with women you will be paying for it all your life.
Sad that you are working at a job you obviously hate doing shit that you hate. Ever look in the mirror to find out who’s fault that is.
You make your own luck in life.
