Second question for SPs

I would like to know if any SPs out there have had clients do favors for them? E.G. get them a discount on something. Have something repaired for the SP. or give advice and save the SP a lot of money.
A while back I had an MP suggest that I should do things for her, because all her other clients were so kind and bought her things ( like the cat carrier for her cat)and did favor for her( help her paint her rooms.

First of all, please don't be so anal about it. It isn't that important that every question be in the 411 section.

Second, I think this question is actually better here. The 411 section is for information about specific providers, I thought, not for generalized questions about what providers do or do not do. Also, I don't think the providers are as likely to read the 411 section, so if he's looking for answers from providers, he's more likely to get them here.

Your post merely points out that it's not so clear where the question should have gone. You say the Lounge, Miko says the 411 section .. in the end, does it matter?

While I have never ASKED for specific favors such as you indicated, I did have a jewler offer to fix a piece of jewlery that broke while I was with him.

Please.

It's not as if there are so many reviews each day that a couple of questions asked in the review section are going to make it difficult to see all the new reviews that are pouring in. And it's not as if the search function can't cover all forums, it does.

I participate on a lot of boards, and I will say it again, there is no board that is quite as anal as this one about where the post belongs. For those boards that are careful about it, usually it's the moderators who just attach a note saying they are moving a post. On this board, there is a reflexive, knee jerk reaction by the members to shout, "Not here! Wrong forum!" It's almost as if you all enjoy catching mistakes and scolding posters for them, and it's kind of silly.
