I am coming to Montreal on Friday Dec 2nd to catch this show ( and to get some). Ladies ,If you like good music, this is a must see. Very groovy Pop\alternative band . They are all about SEX, drugs, and Rock and roll, with the emphasis on SEX. I hope its a good crowd, otherwise Ill have to look for SP's afterwards (but I don't think that will be necessary! )

You may remember a ford commercial 3 or 4 years back that used probably their best and most popular song called "Bohemian like you" ( A bunch of young people in a car singing a tune that they hardly knew the words to except the chorus)
Look it up and download it if you can!
Once you hear it you won't need the article, You will make it a date! But you may still want to read it.
It will make Montreal's already hot music scene singe!

Well, Im 34 and they have been my favorite band for 8 years. Their first album to do well came out in 1997. I would expect the age range to be 22-35 though there may be a few older and younger ones.
I can't understand why they did not get huge in North America ( and they are American, from Portland). Maybe because their first hit "Not if you were the last junkie on earth" came out at a time when the market was saturated with great new stuf from "Oasis", Blur, STP, and all of the other mid-late 90's stuff.
These guys have made their mark by making it big and touring extensively in England.
I guarantee you that the groove of this music is well worth the effort and the price of admission.
Last time I saw them play in Toronto, they played for 3 solid hours and only took a 10 minute smoke break in the middle.

If the girls aren't horny when they show up, they will be when they leave!

its mostly gonna be indie rock type girls. Im into that whole scene ( but not enough to dress it 24/7). As for horny, yeah some girls may appear so, but dont expect Cafe Cleopatra (LOL). Most of these girls are university types, if you want pick up bimbos, there's Club Dome down the street. When it comes to being a guy picking up indie rock chicks, you need several things:

1)you need to be white (im not)
2)you need to have long hair. (I dont)
3)you need to wear rimmed glasses (not for me)
4)and finally, you need to be skinny, I cant stress this one enough (too much gym and chicken breasts make me very un-skinny). Reminds the girls that you have that badass Iggy Pop/Heroin addict look.

So I may not be prime candidate for indie girls, but I sure as hell prefer being around them as opposed to tanorexic Paris Hilton wannabe's. Plus Indie music just kicks ass.
