Should we send flowers to our favorite sp/mp or stripper on Valentine day

PS: I have always hated V-Day. It's just another Hallmark invention to have another holiday for selling more cards and shit.

Of course. Same thing with Christmas and Easter. Holidays created to boost the economy. They're not even about Jesus anymore, they're about Santa Claus & the Easter Bunny.

I don't think that pop-up is being generated by this thread per se. You could have picked up a keyword tracker somewhere that triggered the ad because of the topic.

Exactly my thoughts. That's why he should run an adaware removal program a.s.a.p.

Xmas and Easter were never about Jesus. Those were the pagan holidays of Saturnalia/Yule and Ester that the Roman Catholic church retooled because they couldn't get rid of them entirely.

-but we digress...

I've crossed the line with a stripper ! Got hurt and now for rule of thumb ; never more three times with the same provider/stripper after that it becomes to familiar ! Tipping or gift creates also the problem that every time you see her again you have to give the same amount or gift !

Single and ready to mingle! Nah dude, you're just a loner with a boner. Be extra nice your courtisane tomorow your miles may vary for the better !:thumb:

Let me add to my previous answer to the question:

One of my buddies once met an sp. They hit it off pretty good. She found that he was a good listener. From my experience many sps have very serious issues & often find it's a relief when they can discuss their issues with someone they trust & find is a good listener who may give good advice. Well, he made the mistake of giving her his phone number. Soon after he got home, she began to call him. First it was for advice, then it was just to talk. And call him. After a while, his wife got suspicious since she noticed he started getting irritated (and exasperated) after answering his cellphone so many times. He finally told her that his wife was getting suspicious & to stop calling him....to wait for him to call her. Well, she kept on calling. And calling. So he switched his phone number and never saw her agan.

Careful what you wish for.

For me the passion of the session can be so strong that I can fool myself that it is not what it is. When I really hit it off I sometimes like to imagine that I love the the SP. The only thing that can ruin this is when the SP shows some genuine interest in having a relationship with me. I'm not talking about exchanging the occasional email with an SP. A few e-mails and a few PMs are harmless and kind of fun When the SP wants to see me off the clock, red flags start to fly up everywhere. The rare occasion when this happened (never in Montreal) I found myself very uncomfortable and non-trusting. Why me????? Additionally, In North America, on 1 or 2 occasions when the girl opened up to me it was as Doc said. It was a train wreck I wanted to avoid.

You are right it can be harmful but as long as everybody understands the limits I think it is possible, but me too in a few occasions I got burned because my friends could not accept my limits and push for off the clock or became controlling and jealous...jealousy is a no-no in my lives...a huge turn off...

SP and Clients are not lovers nor friends (when $$ is involve)

I look at an encounter as two actors getting together to act out a scene. I've often said that the best sps are often the ones who are the best actresses. Of course, i've often heard the phrase "I'm myself when i'm with a client". Well, from experience some sps say this because they really want to believe it, or if they really are like they say, they expose themselves to being hurt by the profession. What i'm saying is that it's normal for an sp to put on a barrier when she 'works' and it'll often be easier for her to cope with this type of 'work'.

As for myself, i believe that there are times i may put on an 'act' when i'm with an sp, but in most cases i'm simply being myself & having a good time as usual. However, i have no delusions in regards to what this is really all about: a business transaction where i'm paying money for a fantasy, whatever that fantasy may be. And once our time is up, we both go on with our lives & in the case of a john, hopefully cherish the experience that he paid for. I must admit that it took me many years to finally realize this. Sure it's sex & intimacy or whatever you want to call it, but it's still a fantasy or act that you pay for. If there'd be no money involved, there would be no fantasy & you'd have to either go out to a bar & meet women or get online & start chatting with other lonely women looking for companions.

Sure, there have been a few times where i've met sps & over time we became very good friends. Yes, i have been out on dates many times with women who happened to be sps & it was off the clock. But truth be said, these occurences are quite rare & rarer as we get older & realize that this whole 'hobby' thing is really a mirage.

So, if you really like someone and you want to get her a gift, go ahead and do so. But keep your distance & don't expect anything to come out of it. There's nothing wrong with showing your appreciation, as long as you don't expect things to get more serious than they really are. Do not get fooled by the illusion.

Why buy flowers to your sp, you want to look good why? What you're looking for? That girl loves you more? She will tell you thank you so much in front of you, but when you will leave the room she will put it in trash and laughing ...................
Or that you feel love for the girl!!!!!! oupssss then there is a problem.
Do you see yourself going into a bar dancer with a bouquet of flowers? The question is to answer it .............
Seems to see you enter the bar dancer with a bouquet, the doorman find you so cute ha ha ha.
Go to the bar with a bouquet of balloons heart saying, "" it's for you Sandra "" try it and tell us the experience :))))))

As a matter of fact a guy selling red roses used to visit Cleo's on night shifts. I assume that some clients buy roses for strippers.

I also agree with Doc Holliday statement.

Use your common sense. Today, Valentine's Day, is probably not the best day to offer flowers to your favorite SP; especially if she works for an agency and travels with other SPs in the driver's agency car. Image only that you are her third Customer in a row and each of the previous one also gave her a bouquet. Do you really believe that she will keep all of them? Probably not....

I'm sure that I'm not the first one on this board to whom this kind of situation occurred before: a SP receives a gift (flowers, wine, booze, etc.) form a previous custommer and she give it to you(i.e. the next custommer) because she doesn't like flowers, she is a teetolar or whatever else....

If i can add to the above statement, it's that St-Valentine's Day is the one day where you should NOT give an sp flowers or a gift for the occasion. It would send the wrong message.

p.s. Who the heck was Saint-Valentine anyway? What did he do to have a day named after him? Saint Peter, Saint John & Saint Mathew never had days named after them. So why him?

Yes, St. Valentine was a real man!

Dear Doc,

St Peter and the others have their names celebrated! Just look up the Roman Catholic calendar. For example, St. Peter's day is June 29. All these guys and girls (let's not forget the saintly girls either!) are greatly celebrated by the Church. As for St. Valentine, he was a saintly bishop who was killed for his faith, like many others. The RC church celebrates him today. The legend is that this saintly bishop liked young couples and celebrated christian marriage when doing so was strictly forbidden. The rest is just consumerism, just like Christmas and all the rest of it. In fact, while December 25 is a made up date, St. Valentine's day is supposedly the day in which the good bishop was actually executed...for being nice to young people in love--though this is only legend.

Hopefully these days love is less illegal than it used to be! Or is it? If a person (regardless of what s/he does for a living) freaks out for receiving flowers, one may wonder...

The big problem if we want give a gift to our favorite Sp is to have also today have meet that girl because we often don't have the place or address to send the flowers or the gift.

I don't know if it is really a common practice but it happened to me - at least three or four times in the past. It was a couple of years ago, around 2002-2003, and they were SP working for Les Filles de Monsieur Jacques.

I cannot tell if some SP still do this because I don't hobby anymore in Montréal (my last session was a year ago, in February, with Allyson formerly with MSC).

Of course I never thought of a thing like this since I just have to think of a way to bring it home discreetly if I get flowers or chocolate ,wine is not a problem as it is not as unusual to buy for myself as flowers...
