Same here. I just don't see why men make such a big deal of taking 7-8 minutes out of their time when they arrive just to freshen up and be sure they are clean. A quick shower and a little mouthwash to have fresh breath even though you had a thorough shower and brushed your teeth at home is just a simple courtesy. As for the idiots that show up dirty and smelly, well, you just can't fix stupid.

I have an actual shower. I can set up the temperature if needed and according to my reviews, the towels are the best in town

This time of year I always take a shower. With the summer heat I'll be sweating by the time I walk into an incall. That said, if I'm leaving from home, I take a good shower before meeting an SP.

So, we spent 20 mins before we start the fun just cleaning. Oh yes, I always go to take a shower 10 mins before my time's up.
That time at Montreal we spent about 30 mins just for cleaning... Maybe she was tired and needed to rest a bit...

That brings me to…men asking for 15 mins service. Sometimes men come to my incall and spend 8 mins in the shower, that would only leave them with 7. Hope they’re premature ejaculators

The first type includes those who work all day and may not have had the opportunity to shower, resulting in an automatic unpleasant odor, whether from their testicles or armpits.
Then there are those who seem not to care about hygiene, often due to being married and prioritizing returning to their families over impressing service providers. Additionally some individuals, despite showering, still struggle with poor hygiene.
Furthermore, there are individuals who do not respect women and seem to enjoy encounters with poorly hygienic, almost as if it excites them.
Interestingly, some of these individuals will promptly shower after such encounters.
I find it puzzling that some people complain about a service provider's hygiene while not maintaining good hygiene themselves.
Personally, I believe they may have been mistaking their own poor hygiene for that of the service provider.
If one expects a clean service provider, it is essential to start by maintaining good personal hygiene.

I always take a shower before seeing a SP and I take another one at the incall.
I think refusing to take a shower or even just arguing about it is a big turn off for the SP.

I'm lucky because I've never had a bad experience as an indy but when I was a massage girl it was more of a struggle... I always leave the choice to my clients to shower on their own or at my incall. And surprisingly, often clients show up smelling really good my only issue is sometimes people don't take care of their breath.. showering is good but you can't forget to brush your teeth and use mouthwash before seeing a provider. don't be surprised if dfk is a struggle if you don't have proper oral hygiene

I would add to this : please no brushing and no flossing right before (or right after) an appointment ! It's risky as it can cause microtears in your gums or other surfaces inside your mouth, and this can leave you at more risk of contracting a STI. Definitely wait a few hours between brushing and being intimate. Mouth wash right before is always good though !
