Having to take a shower upon arrival is pretty standard. I just look at it as part of the price of admission. There is no way for an SP to verify if you already took a shower or not. Regarding the showers in many of these in all locations, they are some of the worst ergonomically designed showers I’ve ever seen. The mystery of the cold or hot water temps is one thing but having to climb a huge bathtub wall sometimes makes me wonder how nobody has taken a fall.
that's one of the benefits of this hobby, I am now a certified expert on every type of shower/bath faucet design know to man. I've seen 'em all!
from the 80s style bathtub showers where you pull a little lever on the bath spigut to sent the water upstairs to the showerhead (which often results in half of the water continuing to come out of the bath spigut and only half out of the shower head - so then you re-try the lever several times to try to maximize the conversion from the bath to the shower head, sometimes that works sometimes it doesn't), to the ultra modern sytle showers with multiple sleek dials where you dont know what controls what (usualy one for temp and the other is some kinda diverter) to evertything in between. Low pressure showers, high pressure showers which rip your skin off; hand showers that clip and those where the clip is broken (common, then you inevatibly get sprayed by the dangling hand shower), or hand showers that leak from the handle or from the connection to the source. I've seen showers where the controls are on one wall, but the water comes out the opposite wall... I've seen waterfall showers from the ceiling and body sprays that aim for your private parts. Glass enclosure showers, flimsy curtain showers, showers with no curtains! Rolling glass doors that wont stay closed showers (you end up holding the door closed with one hand while showering with the other hand). Showers with windows, showers with no light. Showers where hot and cold are inversed (thats common). Only cold water showers. Only scalding boiling hot water showers! Moldy showers, brand new showers. Showers with very personal items lol - thats always interesting. And more.
My point: i always take a shower, its expected, no matter the state of the shower.
