Somalians running across our border --your thoughts?

HI I just want to know the thoughts of people about the Somalis running into Canada. I am against it, because these folks chose to go to the USA first, and then came here because it was too problematic.
Its not like they tried to get into Canada the legal way, or was it their first choice. What do you folks think.


PS, given that wherever Somalis have ended up, gang violence spikes that is another concern for me. --Like Edmonton.

When seeing an injured passed out person tourist on the street , any person no matter how por they are would call an ambulance if they had human decency but they did not .
They called a taxi which took them to a clinic which ran up their credit card before giving any first aid. !!!!!!!!!!!--- The sotory of the nurse I am trying to find it, it really shocked me.

With Justine not requiring Mexican visas you will see a lot more activity, you can just add it to the native gangs, bike gangs, Asian gangs, East Indian gangs, Caucasian gangs, I think there is even a gang of neutral gender midgets knee capping people that look down on them.
I agree with Jaliman, Mexico can be a great place, I go there a fair bit and have never had an issue, you need to remeber that you are in a very poor country and there are thieves. Treat them with respect and it should be returned.

We should not paint everybody and country with same brush. We should not call any country shit and all Somalians are not same. Even all Canadians are not same. I asked around at work today, nobody has ever been harassed for that.
Yes there is a trivial fee but lots of places have it.
I have never had anything stolen from a hotel room in Mexico, or Montreal, but have had things stolen in Calgary.
