Sports bar recommendations?

Hey guys, I need your help. Can you guys recommend any good sports bars, catering to the mid-twenty and up crowd, Im bringing a friend along on my next visit,and would like to show him the best Montreal has to offer. Prefer a place where you can just chill out,listen to some music, and look at some hot ladies
Casual or upscale, doesn't matter.

most sports bars in montreal cater do die hard male sports fans and are not generally populated by hot women.

my favorite place to watch hockey is magnan on st patrick.
sort of a montreal tradition.

La Cage aux Sports (Sports Cage) is a sports bar chain found everywhere in Montreal and surroundings, 42 locations in Quebec. Girl guy ratio better here. they are big on local sports and boxing. There are 3 in the down town area. There is actually 1 attached to the Bell center where the montreal Canadians play, second 1 is just a few blocks away at 1437 Rene Levesque ouest (best choice) owned by Canadian and olympic gold medalist speed skater Marc Gagnon. I've been there a few times and found the girl guy ratio to be 50/50. Can have good crowds especially when Canadians are playing.

While Champs is a pure sports bar showing everything possible on multiple screens. Actually named best sports bar in Canada.

yup-the guys above got it right for "sports bars" but perhaps you are looking for more of a pub atomosphere, which inturn is more attractive to the ladies than a sports bar- you can try Hurleys Irish Pub, Mckibbons, Brutopia-most have live Music, decent food and a fair share of lovelies.

Looking for assistance on something. A friend of mine was watching RDS last night on television and there was an advertisement for some "No Holds Barred Fights" or as they have in the US, "UFC-Ultimate Fighting Championships" tonight, but the problem was it was all in French and he was unable to determine where or what time it was on. Would anyone here know of this sort of event taking place in Montreal tonight? Thanks much.
