I do believe that there are some posts made to favour certain girls and agencies .. I was told that by other members ( even that certain agency has supporting members that will add extremely positive reviews)
However there are cases where the client truly feels amazed. Also there are very few girls who provide a beyond GFE service as they do behave as a real girlfriend and are not thinking of providing a service

I don't really find shilling to be much of a problem on merb - it happens, but the board is so active with so many reliable reviewers that shilling just can't hide a bad provider. If a girl has 3 pages containing over a dozen different reviews from guys with hundreds or thousands of posts and all of them contain a similar criticism, and then one person with 9 posts writes a glowing review, you take it with a grain of salt.

It dosent really matter if that person is actually the girl posing as a reviewer or just a guy trying to curry favor, the weight of the total reviews is what paints the picture for me.

Shilling on MERB was much worse in the early years 2003-2006. Over the course of time Moderators began catching shills and if you look at the Membres Suspendus thread there have been many shilling suspensions of late. However regardless of that, I believe most seasoned members are able to draw their own conclusions about the credibility of certain reviews and it’s not fair to say all MERB members are mindless vegetables who cannot discern shill reviews.

Actually in the past some reviews from some veteran posters did say things like “I made sweet love to her” and “she lovingly embraced my cock.” They were criticized in the backchannels for such reviews and I had always thought of it as guys getting carried away with being self-styled Penthouse forum wannabes rather than shills. This thread now has me thinking about the possibility of SPs being complicit in the authorship of such reviews........by way of suggested review inclusions. In the past I have had several SPs ask me if I would write reviews about them. Some were asking because they were wary of any reviews and had an unofficial no review policy. Others were looking for some advertising juice. My stock answer is “I don’t know.” I don’t write very many reviews any more. If a lady asked me not to, I would respect that wish. However one lady suggested content for any review I might potentially write and although I didn’t say no I never would allow myself to be used as someone else’s tool. Any review I ever wrote on MERB was what I wanted to say and not what someone else wanted me to say. One exception is when I reviewed parties my friends and I threw and they specifically asked me to post something from their perspective.

Back to the main topic. I 100% of the time write an honest review on each girl I see. When I see the girl more than once I add a review. The only exception is the girl I have been seeing lately as I have been one of the few reviewing her so I don't wanna post that much because some people would think I am just spamming or faking it.

I do think that it is possible that some users are partial towards one agency or against another one. I know certain members are loyal to 1 or 2 agencies, too. I know some users are members with some bookers, so unfortunately some reviews may be biased to avoid any issue with the booker friend.

I also have been told that shilling can happen quite innocently through peer pressure, i.e. people campaigning for girls for escort of the year and such but I don't know for sure.
