Well, he's only 22 years old. When i was 22 years old, i was partying it up 5 days out of 7.......and i didn't even grow up in Montreal.
The kid is getting VIP treatment at every club he goes to....has pussy lined up for him like crazy....probably gets drinks paid for him all the time and probably rarely picks up the food bill........can't blame the kid for being a tad overwhelmed.
Where the habs might have erred is not forcing him to live with a veteran. Sidney Crosby & other young top talent lived with veteran players when they came up in the league. Malkin with Sergei Gonchar, etc. It's important to keep those kids in line or else they might risk ruining their futures.....just like Scotty Gomez.
By the way....can anyone explain Subban's state-of-mind when he iced that puck with about 10-15 seconds left? Mindboggling!
He ALWAYS was an average player. The difference is that he's not a rookie anymore & expectations are higher. Other teams have finally caught on to his game. The only reason he's still getting major minutes is because the habs defence sucks.
On a different note, i wouldn't trade Leafs rookie Jake Gardiner straight up for Subban if my life depended on it.
PK has alot of physical talent but he probably won't ever reach his potential due to him being weak between the ears!
You think he's the only 22 year old millionaire having a good time during his free time? Can you blame him?
If the team was worried about him, all they had to do was to force him to live with one of the veterans' families, which is being done in some of the other cities with some of the younger players.
This organization is a mess!
