Sorry this happened to you but I don’t understand. You met her in person, gave her cash and there was no intimacy?
The 200$ was just to meet for lunch. She made it real quick at the restaurant and left. Sent me a text saying she had a great time and wanted me to come over, but wanted more money wired first. I was like I’ll give you the money in cash in person. Didn’t answer phone but kept texting. She wanted a wire…obviously a scam the texts were quite sketchy too.

For first time meets best to not send any money. Tell her we dunno each other and this is just to see if we are compatible. Perhaps @EagerBeaver has a better suggestion being experienced in this matter.
I play it the same way as Georgeo1- cash in person and if that is not agreed to, a scam must be presumed. I have also done CashApp or Venmo transfers but only if the date shows. And then you do the transfer. These things can all be negotiated.
Anyone that wants a $200 fee to meet ( or any fee at all ) is very experienced in these things and may be a scam.
I would never accept that on a first meet. There should be no money involved, just to get to know each other and discuss the arrangement. Anyone demanding money is for sure a scammer. I agree with you.

Yep but you know it was not like that before covid. I dunno what happened to society since covid everyone is meaner and greedier.
