Two sides to this.
She does seem like a decent person. Not lowlife trash like so many current celebrities. She would not make a frivolous complaint since she does not need money or publicity. Testifying at this trial is probably costing her a huge amount of money because it is taking her away from her actual job.
On the other hand this was at a public function. How was it not caught on camera? Her security did not see it?
Maybe she intentionally let it go at the time so as not to disrupt the event?

This looks like a slam dunk win for Taylor Swift. The guy clearly has his hand at Taylor's ass level. He will certainly lose his $3 million suit against Taylor. Taylor only needs to prove that it is more likely than not (a preponderence of the evidence) that the guy grabbed her ass. Given her credibility and the photo, that's pretty much a given. Also, she is only countersuing for $1. The only issue I had was whether or not the ass cheeks or buttocks were considered prohibited sexual contact under Colorado law. Since it is before a jury I think she will win. She is the more sympathetic of the two and can portray herself as sincere.

On a related note, I never got "groping". How does this make anyone's day? Does someone think a grope will suddenly turn on the woman and lead to great things?

This is not true. His claims against Taylor Swift were dismissed. His lawsuit against Swift's mother and the radio station promotions director continues:

It's going to the jury, BTW Swift testified the guy grabbed her bare ass and the bodyguard also testified that Mueller lifted Swift's skirt up and she then moved away. None of this testimony is helpful to his case.
It's unlikely she will seek collection on the judgment. That is why she asked for $1, to seek damages so she could bring the claim and make a point. You cannot file a counterclaim for damages that seeks no money.

I assumed he was able to grab bare ass under her skirt because she was wearing a thong. I assumed that much was obvious. An SP told me back in the day she stopped wearing very short dresses when clubbing because some times guys lift them up and a thong does not really hide much.
