DAVIS CUP...........YESSSS....we are WORLD CHAMPS/TENNIS.....BRAVO à FÉLIX--DENIS et VASEK qui ont uni leurs efforts pour inscrire le nom du CANADA pour la 1ère fois sur cette Coupe tant convoitée.
Évidemment on la doit bcp à la performance exceptionnelle de FÉLIX...MAIS DENIS a fait le travail today....et bien content pour VASEK qui a joué avec brio dans les doubles.....titre bien mérité pour lui qui ne l'a pas eu facile ces dernières années à cause de nombreuses
blessures.
La DAVIS CUP n'est pas très suivi/populaire ici en AMÉRIQUE ..MAIS c'est autre chose en EUROPE ..soulève les foules pour le couronnement du meilleur pays/référence/tennis.
Merci à nos vedettes d'avoir accepté de relever le défi....tout en leur honneur....pas tous les joueurs qui acceptent d'y participer......BRAVO CANADA.....bien fier de vous les boys.

I woke up early to watch the Davis Cup on TVA Sports. Then in the final set with 3 games to go we lost the video feed! Then got it back a couple of minutes after the match was over! Talk about a bummer!

Yes...same here....vraiment frustrant....j'avais suivi tous les matchs du CANADA....pour en arriver à ce fiasco de diffusion pour cette victoire historique....on peut comprendre le grand malaise des 2 commentateurs qui btw ont rapidement quitté les ondes...rien de glorieux...sauf la victoire évidemment.

DUBAI...FÉLIX termine l'année de brillante façon......dans un tournoi international en simple et double mixte...il a défait successivement KYRGIOS----THIEM et ZVEREV.......devrait connaître une année 2023 exceptionnelle....on lui souhaite.

Nadal has a hip injury- he probably should have pulled out, but manned up and tried to play. He has been battling one injury or another for most of his career and it's amazing he was able to win 22 majors. But guys who are injury prone in their 20s generally don't do well with injuries as they get into their mid and late 30s. Father Time takes its toll on the body.
