Big win for SHAPO in 4 sets vs OPELKA....that's great....on his way to 4th round.....

#2 MEDVEDEV #3 ZVEREV #4 TSITSIPAS #5 RUBLEV and #6 NADAL.....are all on the move.....hope RAFA will b at least in semis.... DANIIL and ZVEREV will b tough customers.....and in very good shape
WOMEN....oups OSAKA is out.....same for MUGU and SVITO....BARTY---at home---should do it.....am watching closely HALEP /playing solid tennis.....BADOSA and SWIATEK......SABALENKA is always in serious business.

Talking of NADAL...was watching him yesterday playing MANNARINO.....and i had a bizarre feeling....without DJOKO and FED....he must feel alone on his planet surrounded by young wolves so talented.....doit se battre /tout donner pour survivre dans ce nouvel univers...

SHAPO delivered a great battle /comeback after losing 2 first sets BUT at the end of the day ---after 5 sets/4hrs----NADAL is still NADAL the MAESTRO....he struggled with ryhthm and intensity...et on peut comprendre.

Oh gosh.....i just watched the entire replay FÉLIX--MEDVEDEV----5 SETS/4H42----what a spectacular/exciting match. Was looking for FÉLIX winning the first 2 sets BUT MEDVEDEV is MEDVEDEV #2 ..and at the end he had more ressources.....congrats to both

COLLINS...interesting story....she played mostly college tennis at Virginia...she turned PRO mid-2016.....in 2021 important surgerey -endometriosis--did not play for about 2 months. Remember her travelling alone...without coach/any entourage.
So time has changed...good for her....it is her moment...bien mérité cause she worked very very hard to get there....go for it DANIELLE...and she is not looking bad at all...

I would expect Medvedev to be a mild favorite as this is not Nadal's best surface and Medvedev seems to like the hard courts. But Nadal will be dangerous in the French Open as that is his best surface and if he doesn't get 21 in Australia, he just might do it in France.
No surprise...BARTY in 2 sets...at home.....in front of her fans....BRAVO....in a league of her own...at only 5'5 she is solid #1 and a true CHAMP.....and COLLINS will leave with an important bunch of money and in the top 10....not bad....no loser there...lol..
