And the two least-well informed reactions I hear most often are 1) you are racist 2) blame the landlords. This is 100% ignorant. We blame the government for having had a thoroughly mismanaged immigration policy. We were a model for the world with respect to immigration before Trudeau made a big whole mess out of it. The damage that he inflicted on this country is beyond measure. And now he is partying dressed like a teenager with his pop star girlfriend. I just cannot believe it.
Again, well said and true. The point system needs to be brought back, and the family class and Bill C3, which just passed the Senate, must be repealed. Most Canadians are ill-informed and ignorant. That is my bitch and gripe today!

I am off to the office now, and about to board the Metro system. Hopefully, I won't encounter anyone taking a shit on the car or shooting up today.

Today will be a long day. I lost my purse a couple days ago. I have to go to the bank, go get a double set of keys for my home and for my incall, go get my nails done (the appointment was already made before losing my stuff lol), and I have a duo this evening.

Currently sitting on my shower floor being lazy about it all. Ok let's do this lol

Rogers Service Message: Thank you for being a valued customer. Good news! We have increased the speed of your plan's data, now with speeds of up to 1 Gpbs. This upgrade is already complete, no action required. Enjoy streaming, browsing, and connecting faster than ever before.

But when their reception is bad as shit, it's as useful as giving me chopsticks to scoop flour.

You put something up for sale on Facebook or Kijiji or whatever, you clearly write in the ad that if the ad is still up the object in question is still available, so please don't write to ask if it's available or not. Subsequently, 75% of the messages you get are "Is it still available?". Can't we do something to improve the gene pool? I'm trying to decide whether people are too lazy to read a two line ad or whether they're too stupid to understand what's in those two lines. Bilingual ad too. It bugs the shit out of me because even if I tell them not to ask, and they do, I waste my time and answer them anyway, and then never hear from the again after I send them a positive response. I'm also trying to decide whether "no good deed goes unpunished" applies here, and I think probably that it doesn't, but I still feel like they're punishing me anyway. sigh.

It's because it's the default button on an ad that everyone press first lol

Yes, I know, but for chrissakes, you only have to read two lines and then make a tiny conscious decision not to send the message that the ad asks you not to. It's not hard. You can write literally anything else. The simple, short, friendly little ad only asks you not to send one type of message. It's not overly demanding. You could ask about the item, offer a price, make an appointment, ask about condition, send a picture of a pretty flower, a recipe for nanaimo bars, a description of the terrible case of athlete's foot you have, anything really. Why would you respond with literally the only thing that you've been asked not to do? How stupid or lazy do you have to be?

It`s not just you. It`s getting worse. Just a couple of very recent articles:

Bring in too many people; don't build enough homes/apartments: rents go up by a lot: homelessness goes up. Add extremely toxic drugs to the mix circulating on the streets and you have the perfect storm. Canada is basket case.
That was Trudeau's master plan. Remember he was leading the Century Initiative with Dominic Barton and Mark Wiseman. The goal is to make the rich more richer. They want never ending GDP growth. They do not care that the average joe working a job gets poorer. The homelessness is a result of this. They give all the benefits to refugees while single men get the short end of the stick and end up on the streets. Not only that rapid population increase causes food prices to go up also and so does fuel. The is a millionaires dream.

It really has to be mentioned in the first 2 lines otherwise it's completely hidden

The first thing to be done is that Mark Carney needs to boot out Mark Wiseman and scrap the Century Initiative. That is total madness. We need less people, not more. Canada is 10 million over then we should have.

Same topic I bitch about, receptionists not respecting privacy. I hate when I’m entering or leaving and they let clients walk into each other.

One place I go to just changed receptionist and she told me to come in right when she was letting another guy out. Not that hard to have one of us wait 30 seconds!

No matter how hard you’ll try, if one is late and the next one is early then they’ll run into each other

I remember once coming into a well-known service provider's place, and the last guy almost bull-dozed over me; he was so rushed. We literally banged into each other coming around the corner in the hallway.

Did she had time to clean up and get herself ready?

Nope. Other receptionists at the same place see someone coming in. When they do, they will have me wait behind a wall by the entrance so one can pass first. Other receptionists here do that.

Other places I go have the same setup. There’s usually a private area by entrance where they hold clients to let pass
