What else to expect with the Trudeau/Carney Liberals? Here in Canada you get penalized for being productive. The more money you make the more you get taxed. All the professionals tend to go to the US where they are payed a lot more and taxed less. Trudeau opened the floodgates to uncontrolled immigration. The result is an influx of people from third world countries. It is no longer based on merit, they opened it for all due to the Century Initiative where they want 100 million people by 2100. The biggest leech are asylum seekers. Everything is given to them, they are treated like kings. They cost Canadian taxpayers billions of dollars. Yet Liberal voters continue to support this government.

Yes. Many entrepreneurs can’t even sustain their businesses here anymore because hard work gets punished instead of rewarded. That’s why so many flee to the States.

The ones who don’t get this are usually the ones without businesses - stuck watching CBC and CTV, living in a bubble where liberal media spoon-feeds them the illusion that “everything is fine.”

Businesses are flourishing in Canada. Trudeau's mass immigration policy ensured that. Too much demand for products keeps prices high, lots of people looking for work so employers can fuss demanding for experience and fuss and lower the wages while jacking up the prices. Look at grocery stores, prices are out of control. The one suffering is the average joe working a job. The engineer, the doctor, will go to the USA. Lego the dictator is another disaster. Instead of increasing the budget he whips the doctors. They will either go private or move to the USA.

They may flourish at first but they won’t be able to keep up with taxes and the government won’t help them start up future businesses / franchising / expansion.

Taxes get passed on the customer, even thought is consumer might spend less Trudeau's mass immigration policy ensures that things sell fast. Having more people compensates for each person buying less. It is always the little guy working a job that gets the shaft. That is what a lot of those Liberal voters who want social programs do not understand. There is no such thing as government funded, it is taxpayer funded.

Sure, some taxes get passed on to the customer but let’s not pretend business owners aren’t paying a whole grocery list of shit. They still get hit with income tax on whatever’s left, plus monthly property taxes, payroll taxes, licensing fees, and the never-ending list of government grabs. Passing on sales tax doesn’t erase the fact that owners are bled dry at every other level just for keeping their doors open. So no they aren’t flourishing under this government which is why they are fleeing to the states to take their businesses there.

Here in Canada, you’re very limited for a startup and the gov won’t want to help you startup or expand again.

Here’s a gem I found also… how banks roll out the red carpet for new immigrants but not us…

RBC has a pretty special offer for newcomers:

12% cash back on a Mastercard. Wow!

I wonder if they have ever offered such a whopping cash back percentage for born-here Canadians.

The largest cash back reward I’ve seen is 4%.

What kind of businesses? Business is also flourishing in some middle eastern bazaars were they sell and resell industrial products from developed countries. But they have nothing to sell back except of their oil and gas. So, Canada may soon join this club of strictly commodity oriented economies.

Grocery stores, souvenir businesses, real estate, etc.. They are all cashing in big and never as much as now thanks to Trudope's mass immigration policy. Canada is not using the natural resources to cash in so they have an open uncontrolled immigration policy to cause rising real estate prices to generate wealth for the wealthy.

Wealth is not generated in a closed environment without well-developed manufacturing sector that nowadays include intellectual products and entertainment. Without strong manufacturing sector all increase in the business activity is fueled mostly by the inflation. Canada still sells some industrial goods internationally but not as much as used to be. Unlike US, Canada is also a pygmy in services and bunking.

I went to my first private clinic today because the alternative of waiting in the public system was so long and inefficient, I would be dead before having an appointment. Seeing that I have no family doctor, the nurse who did the triage on the phone with me last night offered the options: a week-long wait for an appointment to see a doctor or an appointment the following day for the price of $200. I chose the private, and I am glad I did, as my problem required immediate assistance and a prescription. Many other people I know now do the same.

My appointment was at 2:40 pm and I arrived at 2 pm. When I arrived, to my dismay, they called me by my name the moment I came through the door and led me immediately to the doctor's office. I saw the doctor, and the services rendered were top-notch, including an ultrasound that I had 30 minutes after entering his office at a place directly across the hall from his office. I could not believe the service I received after having endured the problems of the public system for so long. My problem was immediately addressed and then some.

By the way, last year, when I had a similar problem, I went to the ER at the new Glen RVH. I was astonished to see countless homeless men sprawled out on the waiting seats in the waiting room, sleeping, and a few even smoking. The smell alone was horrendous. This, while security stood nearby, controlling fights among large immigrant families that were ongoing the whole time I was there, which was 18 hours, for a serious problem I had. I cursed Trudeau and the Liberals throughout my ordeal. The fucker needs to be in jail for destroying so many once-loved Canadian institutions, and it would appear now, Carney, as well.

It’s ridiculous what is happening. I have a family doctor but it’s basically useless I never get an appointment before the 3 month mark. Might as well go to walk-in clinic. Haven’t seen her for 10 years.
I think CAQ has a bigger role to play in this non sense. They just raised the salaries of the national assembly members (raise of 7.5%) while they cut in healthcare and in education (now is not the time to cut in education especially with the brain rot called TikTok).
Healthcare instead of cutting useless managerial positions they are cutting nurses and doctors get overwhelmed. That is also why people wait much longer than 10-20 years ago. Not to mention the growing population so much high demand for less direct professionals.
You have the saaq clic fiasco as well.
Today they spoke about secularism and prayers on the streets (you can agree or disagree about it) but they use that to shift the focus of people from their incompetence

Seems Lego is projected to win 0 seats for the next elections. I think PSPP of PQ will be much much worse. Lol

Yes any person who understands economics know that except Liberal voters. Hence why Trudope had a mass immigration policy in an effort to boost GDP with greater numbers but that gave a false impression of a prospering economy. The real figure to check is GDP per capita. Keynesian economics is madness. Canada could alone be prosperous with its resources like oil. Oil is more valuable then gold. They could have pumped billions into the economy and cut taxes in half but idiots like Trudope said no. Carney follows the same agenda.
