I have a gorgeous associate in her mid-20s. When she asks what I'm doing for lunch, I'm always tempted to respond, "what I'd love to do is unbutton your back slacks, pull down your pink panties, get some whip cream and syrup and go to town" but I usually end up saying something like, "the usual".

I steal the soap bars and shampoo bottles (but neither conditioner nor body lotion as I don't use these) from hotels

I steal them for me

I notice women are super picky on the personal wash products they use ; like filling a bag full of their own soap, shampoo, body wash, lotions, even when staying in good hotels. Is this a thing? or I had been hanging up with spoilt princesses?

I am happy washing my body and hair with with small, rock hard motel soap bars, if that means less stuff to pack

A little from column A, and a little from column B, in my case. I can't handle the fragrances in most hotel/motel soap etc. and the quantity of moisturizer they give you won't even cover one leg. So if you've been with princesses without flaky skin, or hair standing straight up, or out of control frizzy... now you get why we bring our own stuff.

I definitely prefer to bring my own when I go somewhere yes. The stuff they give at the hotel often dries my hair and irritates my skin

I absolutely love that idea.

I've been doing it ever since my first time going to hotels years ago. On longer tours/travels I'll ask for refills a few times during my stay too so I can make more packages lol

I'm always too shy to ask for anything when I'm touring because I don't want to be noticed by the staff lol

Take whatever isn't bolted down when staying at a hotel (and whatever you can unbolt if you have the right wrench) just make sure you don't get charged for it on checkout. If I'm travelling and find a pillow I don't hate I'll call down and tell them I'm missing a pillow and they'll bring one up and I take the original pillow with me for the duration of my travels.

This is especially important in Europe where they have perfected many things (highway traffic, single-use bottles with lids attached, pretty much all the food, etc) but have not yet discovered North American bed technology.

Somewhat unrelated but the honeyrose hotel has this eternal roses decor thing you can buy in the room for 100$. I wonder if anyone has ever actually bought them. I always giggle about it when going to this hotel because let's be real nobody rents a hotel room planning on buying eternal roses in the first place. If I was in my room with a spare 100$ I'd order food or do some actual shopping... My guess is there are more people getting charged for stealing it after missing the (very) fine print than there are people actively wanting to buy it lol

I bring towels from home for this reason but I figure they expect that the soaps etc don't last more than a couple days even for a single person since they're so tiny
