It might have been PRESEASON yesterday, but my JETS "WON"

YES I know it means nothing, but it still feels good !!!

GO JETS !!!

I read a great article today translated from espn on rds.ca (french sports channel in Canada)..... Basically it says that the Jets is the worst option Favre could have got. he wanted the Vikings or the Bears or even the Bucks and he took the jets just to save face and have a team before the season starts. They applaud how the Packers called his bluff and finally they are not sure Bret made the right move to come back to such an ordinary team.... Only time will tell....

It was written by John Clayton....

John Clayton's Article might have been very insiteful and on the money, but for the Jets it was a no brainer. What did they have before Favre ? Pennington and Kellen !! It was a no brainer for the the Jets to go out and get him. They lose nothing if he does not do well for them, but if he does take them to the super bowl it will cost them a number one draft pick. What team would not give up a number one draft pick to get to the super bowl ???

Someone brought to my attention than the Bills lost today... Well I did not really watch the game, was far too busy playing Madden 09 on the 360 and it means nothing anyway... The little part I saw, i did not even know a damn player because they where so far down on the depth chart!!!

i remember the Raider being 4-0 in preseason and winning 1 lousy game or something in the regular season....

Get to go back to watch hardknocks on nfl.com.... stupid HBO is down again... coolsat 4K is worthless these days, wait for Nagra3 to be crack to buy viewsat HD...

AFC East(My prediction)

1. New York 10-6(Favre alone is worth 5 wins and with all the new additions especially on the offensive line, watch out!!!).

2. Buffalo 10-6, lose tiebreaker to the Jets(Adam Schein from the NFL network already has them penciled in for the playoffs, Stroud is a monster in the middle and will be unstoppable).

3. New England 9-7(You know what they say about a cheat, once a cheat always a cheat, I'm sure Belicheat will find a way to cheat the team to 9 victories).

4. Miami 5-12(Pennington makes this team better and they have nowhere to go but up).

All of sudden New England's easy schedule just got a lot tougher,

Confirmed on my part.:)

New England's o-line got crushed last week by Baltimore, constant pressure all night along with 5 sacks given up, does it remind you of a certain game?:p.

You better hope that nothing happens to your boy Brady,I wouldn't be surprised if Flutie has already gotten the call to stay in shape just in case.:)

Well My Jets lost today, but Bret Favre looked good !! Enough of this Preseason Crap bring on Miami !

Hello Davidfinkel,

Hey, that's cool. Favre can go on looking good all year. So you will have some nice stats and photos of a future Hall of Famer for your team yearbook to look at while watching the playoffs on TV.

Enjoy,

Korbel

Are you for real?, the guy looked absolutely fucking amazing, if he played the whole game he would have skinned the Redskins alive, that delay look TD pass to Keller was pure classic Brett Favre, I already have him penciled in for the Pro Bowl, the balance of power in the East has shifted to the Jets and you can say goodbye to the Patroits and thier cheating ways, the only thing that they will have to talk about in New England this year is who is dating Tom Brady.

Hey Josey,

I see you found a hole to hide in over here...bwahahaha. Yeah, bluster all you want just like you did about your season-dead Stankees. But don't forget: you bet me $160 that the Patriots would not make the playoffs. Ummm...could you put that money in a high interest account or money market investment for me. Too bad you chickened out on that Robinson Cano MVP bet I wanted...BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

Get ready to pay up...BOY...KA-CHING!!!

Korbel

PS

Favre threw 6 passes against a bad team and got sacked...lol.

The Bills did look good, but it looks like it's a team that will be carried by their defense once again. I'm still not sold on Trent Edwards being the starting QB over JP Loseman.

As for the field, i didn't think it was as bad as people say it was. Okay, i'll admit that it's a type of turf that was developped for baseball & not necessarily football & it might take a few games to get used to it. However, if i'm an NFL player, i take that indoor turf anytime over the frozen & very hard turf at Rich Stadium in December!

Hello all,

Don't you love watching fair weather fans who change allegiances with the flavor of the month. No shame huh Josey. You can bluster all you want. I expect my money from you as soon as the Patriots clinch a playoff spot.

Hey Josey, what is your buddy Hench saying now about the Tankees...lol.

silly boy,

Hello Frank29,
LOL...circling the wagons is what you do to avoid getting wiped out.
Korbel (Patriots forever)

Patriots absolutly ! The Brady Boyz will remain the number force in the NFL this year hands down.

A Giants repeat ... lol ...

The Jets have a shot at 8-8 season but thats it. No Defensive line and the
offensive line, well again . They will not offer any support to have the running game
produce anything and never mind a PASSING lane for Favre !

8-8 ... might turn out to be 6-8 .

The Bills !!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will go on to make an OFFICIAL prediction :

The Jets will have a better season then the Bills !

Anyone WILL care to take a wager with me ???

:)
