I don't get it. Are we all supposed to buy pom poms and fluffy skirts, and make witty little cheers in honour of GG not dipping his stick into SPs?

Granted we owe GG nothing, but I do have some sympathy for his small victory. Keep it up for a bit longer GG and next thing you know it's been 60 days, a bit longer and it's been 120... then a year!
I forget, I might be confusing you with another hobbyist, but you should probably have a discussion with your wife about your needs... that way you get to have fun AND save money (spend it on her, it'll make both of you feel good
) PS obviously I'm not married, so I may not understand the complexity of my suggestion.

Well I regret to inform you that I caved in. Why be honest about it and risk being ridiculed? Why not? I want to describe the process of trying to detach as truthfully as possible and if this means public scorn from members here, then so be it.
I got into a nasty fight with my wife last night. The lack of sex and the lack of intimacy are getting to me and it boiled over last night when I tried approaching her and she refused to even attempt being warm.
The frustrations of being married with someone who is unwilling to budge or try to make things work is daunting. I am rapidly losing any hope that we can salvage things. I hate admitting this but it is the truth.
Anyways, I left in a huff and called Devilish. I must be lucky because Amelie was available. She was exactly what I needed to calm down, even if it was a brief respite.

Sorry to hear that GG, (the old lady troubles, not the lapse). I'd have to agree with EB, but more importantly, you should probably be the one ending it, rather than her, if she ever discovers your hobby.

Don't worry, I'm sure Mr. GG has thought about that thousands of times, like a lot of others in his situation. It's sometimes the most difficult decision you'll have to make in your life.
Some other time, you do love your wife, but as a member of your family, the mother of your children, like a good friend. But, she's not what lights your fire!
On the other hand, if GG gets a divorce, it should cure his addiction since he won't have any money left...

Depending on how well he covers his tracks (and posting all the details of his sex life here on MERB is not the best way to cover his tracks ), Gonad's wife probably already knows that he is cheating on her. She may not know (or want to know) all the details, but she knows something is going on. Women have a sixth sense about things like this and they usually suspect (or know) what is going on long before guys think they do. They also are often reluctant to confront a man about infidelity. One should not mistake this reluctance to talk for ignorance of the facts.
