My English is bad, just enough to communicate with others even with mistake. My French is almost non existent. I appreciate the French members who writes in English to help people like me who are not good reading French. Vive le Québec.

I can understand why french folks would initiate a thread in shakespeare language. Doing so gives you a much larger audience.

It's also more efficient. For some reason French takes twice the number of characters to write the same thing. And all those accents too, ain't nobody got time for that.

I just hate these f...king french-canadian keyboards Microsoft did in Windows. It's always switching back to the multilingual one ...even if you deleted it.
It has been done by team B and they never fixed it.

Perso, ce que j'apprécie au québec, et j'ai voyagé et travaillé sur 4 continents, c'est qu'ici je peux parler à un anglophone en français, qu'il peut me répondre en anglais, et que la conversation va rester hyper fluide parce qu'aucun de nous deux n'aura à perdre son temps à traduire dans sa tête avant de parler, souvent en y perdant en précision. Comme une sorte de Google Translate dans notre cerveau.

Pouvoir le faire de manière aussi naturelle c'est le privilège qu'on a de vivre dans une société réellement bilingue avec des gens socialement intelligents.
À part en Suisse, je n'ai vu ça nulle part ailleurs se produire de manière à ce point décomplexée.

En revanche, en dehors des interactions sociale, il est malheureusement vrai que pour joindre un public plus large (on a beaucoup de touristes états-uniens et d'autre pays incluant l'Ontario sur ce forum), il est souvent nécessaire d'écrire en anglais.

Comme le disait espièglement Robert Bourassa, à mon avis un de nos derniers vrais politiciens au Québec (avec le grand Parizeau): Québec is french. Hahaha.
Une jolie boutade qui me fait encore rire en 2023.

Seule chose que j’aime moins d’être régulier est que la qualité du service est parfois en baisse. Ou alors elle s’attend à plus d’argent pour moins de services.

J’étais régulier avec une SP (je n’ai pas fait de review sur elle), mais j’ai dû arrêter quand elle a commencé à overpromise and underdeliver trop souvent.
