The miserable US$ to C$ exchange rate

i have difrent mentality then most of other posters in this tread. i would like a higher canadien dollar since it affects my upcoming trip to nyc in october as well as my trip to los angeles b4 year end.
hotel prices are going higher b/c of the falling canadien dollar so might opt for airbnb.

If the exchange rate becomes more favorable for American visitors those darn dinner dates don't look so expensive anymore. Personally my hobbying was really toned down for the past few years because the exchange rates were horrible where it was better to hobby when the girl tours or bite the bullet in Vegas.
I had one client from the USA last week, we stayed the week together, when he arrives he made the mistakes to exchange his currency at the airport they gave him 105$ for 100$ i didn't get that one, those fées are astronomous!
So in you encounter with him where he has realized you are the next best thing to the discovery of slice bread, did you wise him up and educate him on how this should be truly done when it comes to obtaining the exchange rate at its true absolute value?

Ding Ding Ding Ding. If he spent a whole week with you. What does that tell you?!?!?! It is one of the biggest compliment of all! You probably have more meaning to him than you thought and realized.
Even though this hobby is a bit of a forced issue at times, chemistry is chemistry. You can't fake it. If it is there and is electrifying it is amazing even if for a brief moment.
With the crappy rate coupled with fees on top of it all it is an absolute rip off and disadvantage. Better to go to an ATM and get the actual exchange rate.
You must be joking, 3 Rivieres is a hole for us in Québec compared to Montréal and Québec City! I was actually very lucky to get some fun there a few years ago as I was driving through just like you did. It has a bad reputaion of BS (welfare) status in Québec. I think that you did not get my point! That's where we will all get stuck if the loonie keeps going the same way! Please let's get rid of that conservative plague!

I just did my expenses from my little Washington -Virginia beach escapade,ouch,it would have been ok but once the rate apply ,sigh.
Hopefully next year road trip , the rate will be better...
Thinking South Carolina because I was a bit disappointed that the sea was on the cool side in VA,who knew? But the trip was still worth it ,I love the sheer demesure of the States,everything is bigger then life lol

Tiger I am still trying to get the sands out of my stuff,I think I brought back the whole beach lol, I need to recover from the drive,it was brutal,left at 7 am arrived home at 22h30 and what killed me was the 1h30 wait at the border,what was frustrating is that my line was the only one getting 20 min interrogation per car,here's another one for you greenacres:the guy was zélé, way to intense ,it is the first time I've been asked if I carry illegal arms ,hum,if I would I doubt I would tell him, no?

Wow, pretty scary. A paper trail. Especially when considering that exchanging currencies at an ATM is illegal! Well, only in Texas and Arizona, and only if you're converting Mexican pesos to Yankee dollars. Heh, heh, just kidding. Even then using an ATM is legal and harmless.
I've been using ATMs to convert for years and not one has yet asked me if I plan to use the funds to support the sex trade, purchase illegal drugs, or bribe a government official. Paper trail? So what?

For girls like Amanda - a week of US$ - or Tianna - travelling to US this weekend - getting paid in US$$ is a big plus. For us poor CDN snowbirds, hobbying in Florida this winter will put the average $200 session into an unmanageable level. We need Montreal girls coming down for the sun willing to accept CDN$ at par! Any takers?
