It is funny when we see it from the outside but the risks of somebody really dying is real and I know peoples that will die if they are scared like that. With people really religious and old it is even worst because they have more chance to beleive in this kind of thing.

Someone having a heart attack is one risk. Someone hurting the girl in their panic is also a risk. If I had an umbrella, I'm not sure she would not get a good whack on the head. Imagine if they did that in the US? How long until someone pull out a gun and shoot the girl...
