Seattle ???

My vote would be for Portland,Oregon/ Kansas City/ or Quebec City.

The Western Conference is still short of one team. Seattle or Portland would be a natural to get the next expansion. The only way i see Quebec or KC getting a franchise in the next few years would be via relocation. Best bet would be either Carolina or Florida relocating to one of those cities.

Seattle is too close to Vancouver
Let's go with Portland

That's like saying Ottawa is too close to Montreal or Buffalo is too close to Toronto. Or Quebec City is too close to Montreal.

I don't want the NHL to go to Portland. It'll kill their WHL hockey team (Portland Winter Hawks).

I tried to watch it but it was too painful to watch. 3-on-3 hockey isn't NHL hockey. I love 3-on-3 hockey during the regular season when they're in overtime and both teams giving it their all. But 3-on-3 in the all-star game is a joke and the players are barely trying and it all seems like a big joke out there!

I don't fucking care who wins the million dollars, to tell you the truth. It actually makes me sick that the league has to bribe the players with a million dollar prize in order to get them to perform a little bit. Okay there were a few players out there who seemed to be trying, among them Connor McDavid and Brad Marchand. But it was too tough to watch and i stopped halfway into the first game.

The skills competition a day earlier was better. I watched the fastest skater and hardest shot competition. Those two were the only ones that interested me.

For me the all-star weekend is a big snoozer! I'd rather see 5-on-5 hockey (like it's meant to be) than 3-on-3 in such a game. How do you promote your product when it's not even what you're showing?? If 3-on-3 hockey is so great then why not have it during the playoffs when they go into an endless overtime period?? I'd be all for that.

It's also a joke that each team must have a player at the all-star game. Many people were saying that Carey Price had no business there. But who the hell do you send if you're the Habs? Paul Byron? Philip Danault? Brendan Gallagher? Nicholas Deslauriers??

What the hell was Brian Boyle doing there?? He himself was telling people that he's no all-star. Was he there for sympathy reasons?? If so then it's sad.

Remember John Scott, and the farce from a couple years....

Look behind you.
And it is the home stretch, the GEO are 10 points out, some decent teams that must be past. Almost a complete lost season but not quite.

Again Vegas....4-2 on Flames....and wow they scored 3 goals in 53 secondes to equal most victories by first-year team......just incredible and spectacular....

Vegas' incredible success only hurts Quebec City's chances of ever getting an expansion team. Why would the Habs ever give their approval if it means the possibility of rival QC having a very good team while 'Les Glorieux' remains one of the worse teams in hockey for the next decade?

Golden Knights make history with 34th win, most by NHL team in inaugural season :yo:
I watched Preds 5-0 on LA.....they look good and serious.....une finale Preds--TBay me plairait énormément...2 puissantes équipes talentueuses et bien balancées.....avec des gardiens hot.

Preds 4-2 on Rangers.....they are now one of my favorites teams...i like to watch them....always in control of the puck et la pression constante sur l'équipe adverse....beau a voir.....et Subban another great evening...one goal---and again what a goal---one assist....and what about Rinne.

BUT 2 gros bémols...the refs were wearing the Pred's jersey......Forsberg and Emelin injured Vesey and Staal---both out for the game---avec des mises en échec vicieuses....and no penalty at all. Forsberg will have a hearing today....but what Emelin did was much worst...il a écrasé de toutes ses forces Staal contre la bande en se donnant un élan en soulevant ses patins.....vicieux et salop....hope the league will review and suspend Emelin.....he really deserves it.......

Emelin was one of the league's dirtiest players when he played for the habs. So nothing new there.

By the way did you see the replay of the end-to-end rush by Sergachev yesterday? Wow!!!!! Bobby Orr-like!!!

It was a very exciting game but the Preds played against the Islanders.
