30% to 40% of that price of gas is all taxes. The government is ripping us off. Trudeau is forcing electric but when it goes all electric the Liberals/Socialists will impose hefty recharging taxes. It is coming.

And to add the only province that did the right thing was Alberta by reducing taxes on gas, currently Alberta gas prices are hovering around $1.65/L compared to Quebec at $2.15/L. Filling up a full tank makes a big difference.

Even in Ontario, Doug Ford give a break in carbon tax for a few months. Here we do nothing ! Trudeau put all these collected carbon tax in his pocket, do nothing for the environment. They are thieves, they all want to steal your hard earned money.
I am going to Toronto this weekend, gas up full tank before i cross the border. Today $1.95 at Lancaster ON v/s $2.16 in Montreal. $2.00 at Costco because they are outside of Montreal, no community transport tax. F*** them with all these taxes.
