Greece is starting the six day work week. They claim the same nonsense that Trudeau keeps on repeating, a shrinking population (yea right when the world has 8.5 billion people, there are way too many humans) and declining productivity. What they are actually seeking is more tax revenue. Every person and business reduced their spending when they are low on money except the government. Their spending is out of control and they seek new ways to extort more workers. I think five days a week is already too much but six days a week is madness. Big part of lower productivity is high taxes and too much government regulations.

Socialism doesn’t create wealth. Socialism takes the money from the productive people to give it to the less productive.

Socialism kills the initiative because you will not be rewarded if you do well but will be saved if you do nothing.

Exactly and I am just shocked to see how many still support Marxist policies.

The people supporting marxist policies receive without paying.

They are free riders.
Not just them but also the wealthy. Marxist policies benefit the wealthy. Noticed how it is usually the rich voting for Democrats / Liberals? Trudeau's mass immigration policy and inflationary spending benefited the rich the most. It is a known fact that the rich make money off inflation.

They want to incentives people to work, don't tax them so much, and let them actually see a benifit from the work they do. Forcing them to work more will only lead to more mental health issues, and more burnout which means more payouts in cost for those who just can't handle being in the workforce for that amount of time, not to mention the accidents will go up as well due to exhaustion.
Nothing like feeling like we are Canada's livestock for the government to keep taking every cent they can from us to break our spirits. It isn't going to produce more work turnout, but less people willing to be treated like cattle, till we drop dead from being overworked.
Been there done that worked an average of 48hrs a week, and in the end my kids felt neglected because I couldn't be there for them as I had to be at work all the time, I got burnt out, and had the worst mood that lead to sever depression. The quickest way to kill anyone's drive to keep working is to feel unappreciated, and like no matter how hard they try they will always get nowhere.
