Visiting Toronto now after a few Montreal trips...

My observations- Toronto is great for the Asian scene which is huge and MTL lacks with many agencies having a range of fresh talent. Things are a bit crazy there for that if it's you're thing and there are a range of services offered that surprised me.

The non-Asian agencies are numerous but the quality looks mostly low compared to what's available in MTL, and all at a higher price. You have several agencies here that all have stunning women on any day with great service. None of the non-Asian Toronto agency girls have really interested me much so far where I can find some at just about any MTL agency on a given day I would be happy with. Maybe at Cupids but I have not really looked yet...
I used to love going to Toronto because it offered diversity that you couldn’t get in Mtl. Especially Russians, Blacks, Greeks, Japanese, Chinese, Pakistani, East Indians, UK, Dutch & Aussie sps, among many others. Not many Czechs though. Prices were higher & the looks & services not as good but at least is was nice to try something different. All my former favorites are gone now & more & more french-canadians girls have settled in the area. But the cost of living is sky-high & no wonder the rates are higher & some have moved away.

By the way is Wicked (popular swingers club) still around? I also remembered the airport area being great for incall.

Wicked closed about a decade ago. The only Toronto swing club I know is OASIS AQUALOUNGE. Nice group but was the guest of the owner who introduced me to a lot of folks mostly in the large nice pool. I would never go to a swing club as a single male - and most clubs don't allow. I hosted a large Christian Swing/Poly group for years in my home but we were more into actual real relationships not just recreational sex. I was also for a number a years a speaker at the huge national Lifestyles convention in CA (no longer active), which Filled rooms with "Swinging Christians, not a Biblical Conflict." My old site still up, libchrist.com

I have visited Toronto for 20+ years and have non-sexwork friends there. I always stay in Mississauga (aka Sauga), and yes, there are a huge amount of agency incalls, mostly at hotels near the airport or apartments/condos more in the Square One area. My most recent trip was a few months ago. I avoid DT and the terrible traffic and parking mess, but one friend lives downtown, and instead of the highway mess, I have Ubered in the last few years if I go DT.

There are also great strip clubs and massage places in the Mississauga area. The airport is in Mississauga, with the Toronto city border on its North side.

I want to return to Montreal but have put it off since I know Toronto so well and have friends to visit. But I like many of the Montreal options, and far less costly especially for escorts and seem more into the intimacy aspects in general versus just the usual, I call boring, just sex stuff. By careful research, I have had some great experiences, but most reviews don't help much with just about sex acts vs personality and intimacy for the hour beyond just the usual.

By the way, I have over 2,800 posts on Terb, and I predate the current T/P/M boards on the original Fred's prior board. He sadly died many years ago, but I had some good phone discussions with him decades ago.

Sorry to hear Wicked closed down. I first heard of the place about 15 years ago from a Mtl sp who was working in Toronto at the time. She wanted me to go one evening with her & her sp friend. She said that’s where we could have our first threesome together. However back in those years swingers clubs weren’t my thing so i declined. In later years i realized i had been a victim of my own ignorance. In 2015 or 2016 i received an invite from the owner(s) of the club. I figured he must have read my reviews of a couple of groupsex events i attended that year in Mtl. But i wasn’t going to TO much anymore.

As for transportation i agree the traffic is crazy. However i was in TO a few months ago to attend a few ball games & also had to attend a card show in Etobicoke/Mississauga. So i took the TTC train called The Pearson Express which took me from Union Station to Pearson Airport & from there i took a Uber to the card show & later did the same thing to head back downtown. It was very convenient since i was staying at the Germain MLS which is right next to Union Station. I found the train a great way to avoid the eternal traffic jams.

I also thought of that on my last trip a few months ago since my DT friend is only a short Uber hop from Union Station. I haven't been on a train since I was about 10 years old on Amtrack with my parents —or a bus since college (I am 78!). It sounds like a fun adventure on a future trip since my usual hotel is another short Uber from the airport.

I would also like to drag my DT Toronto friend to Ottawa, and we have discussed taking that train as an adventure. After financial issues from the Covid "The longest running musical dinner theater in Canada" gave up its huge Niagara location where I had seen their fun musical and actors out in the audience Oh Canada twice with a few years apart. I would like to see them in their new, much smaller place in Ottawa. https://www.ohcanadaeh.com Have to keep trains in my future plans!

The train is convenient & enjoyable to ride once in a while when not in a hurry. I’ve taken the Toronto-Montreal train several times in the past & if i would do it over i’d ignore sitting in a coach & would opt for the VIP treatment & possibly even a cabin. An sp from Mtl that i met over a decade ago once suggested we take a trip to Toronto one of these days & we could ride on VIA Rail’s red eye train to TO & back. She had this scenario where we get a cabin & spend the entire night having sex between the two cities. Considering that she was an extremely loud lover i wasn’t sure this would be a good idea although it may be something i’d like to try one day if i’m with the right partner.

The last time i took the train was four years ago when i was going from Quebec to Montreal. I’m not gonna lie it seemed like a very long ride & halfways into the trip i regretted not taking the bus instead. I think i felt that Quebec wasn’t far enough from Mtl to be using the train. However had i upgraded to VIP or get a cabin maybe the ride would have felt shorter than it did.

I've done the train many times, the Business Class used to be a good value compared to flying, and I could do work, relax, etc. But the rates are now crazy unless you can book far in advance. I highly recommend flying from Dorval to YTZ (Billy Bishop Airport) assuming you are nearish downtown Toronto. Billy Bishop is the cleanest, most efficient, quietest airport I have every seen in a large city. The Air Canada lounge itself is amazing. Betwen Porter Airlines and AC you can find a flight every hour and if you can book two weeks out dirt cheap.

Toronto is the best for the Indy scene especially if you are like me into Black girls. Toronto being the most densely populated area of Canada, attracts a lot of Indies to work there. Even if you check on Terb you will see triple the amount of Indys on it compared to Merb and there is so much choice for Black girls. Rates are on par with Montreal post-covid.

My Toronto friend always uses Porter and lives close to Billy Bishop. However, because I talked about how nice a train might be, he is leaving Thursday by train to Montreal, Business Class. He enjoyed Doc Holliday's comments, which I shared by phone.

Porter starts nonstop service to/from Phoenix in October, but the plane it uses is too large for Billy Bishop, so it will go into Pearson. Since I avoid DT (except for my friend and often dinner with a group of folks), I prefer Pearson since I refuse to stay DT with its high hotel prices, traffic/parking mess, etc.

However, I am frugal and still have about 300k FF miles on American, but they have no nonstop flights to either Toronto or Montreal. I usually use a Chicago connection to Toronto YYZ with a 3-hour layover, but most other connections are less than an hour, so I don't want to miss a connection.

Sometimes I splurge and go Air Canada direct to Toronto, but to get to Montreal, I believe I have to connect in Toronto! Hopefully, the Air Canada pilot's likely strike won't last long. A strike will probably pressure flight availability on alternatives, and alternatives may increase fares to take advantage of the demand if Air Canada is not operating.

In the US, we are way behind Canada on passenger rail service, although it would be too long for me by train from Phoenix to Canada. We don't even have a train station or other limited destinations starting way South of Phoenix. There is often discussion of rail between Phoenix and Tucson, but I doubt the expense will be justified in building it.

Taking the train to Mtl will be an even better idea if he’s staying either at the Queen Elizabeth or at the Hotel Bonaventure since he wouldn’t even have to step outside to get to his hotel! And he’d be right across from one of my favorite Mtl restaurants, The Keg (Place Ville Marie).

Reading your post I’m surprised to learn that the US is behind Canada in regards to passenger rail service. I always figured it was the other way around.

One other advantage in Toronto is the standardized 45 minutes time slot for people who are 1 SOG, that combined with the recent inflation in rates in Montreal means that it can actually be cheaper to hobby in Toronto for some. That combined with the previously mentioned diversity makes it the better destination imo.

Interesting. He is staying at an odd hotel chosen because years ago, he ate at their restaurant and was so impressed that he wanted to stay at the hotel. He isn't going for any escorts, etc, but to visit the grave of a friend. The weird hotel is https://www.ithq.qc.ca/en/hotel. It is part of the Institute for Hospitality

It's not a weird hotel, it's the governmental tourism and sommelerie school. That's why it's not in a central area but there are fun things to do within walking distance! I went to their restaurant for dinner recently and I was seriously impressed. I thought it would be good food, with a fancy twist made to impress the general population, but the whole meal was really well done, creative yet accessible.

Thanks for the good info, and I will pass it on. I thought it was "weird" since it was so hard for both of us to find doing Google searches for the hotel, not just the organization. As I said, he was so impressed, like you, with the restaurant a few years ago that he wanted to try the hotel.
