Hey all, just curious what ya'll do when you visit here. I'm bored looking for stuff to do in between visits. If you're a local, what do you recommend?
Tourists traveling to Montreal, what do you do when you're not with a SP?

Hmmm... after Putain maybe a poutine! 
Hard to say, I like good food, social environments where it's easy to meet and talk to people, new experiences, anything. Just curious what people like to do when they visit here, besides see SPs haha
Depends on what do you like.
Standard tourist places :
- La Banquise (for a poutine)
- See a hockey match at Bell Center (unmatched vibes)
- Schwartz's (Smoked meat)
- Old Montreal/Place Jacques Cartier (walk)
- Mont-Royal Belvedère Kondiaronk (scenic view)
- Orange Julep (meh fast food, but emblematic orange sphere in Mtl)
- Place des arts (always some kind of festival over there)
Really depends on what you like.
In Mtl there is no shortage of things to do.

There are great microbreweries and bars in Montreal where it is easy to meet new people and have a good conversation.
Building off what Sylar mentioned, try one of Montreal's walking tours. You can mingle with a group of people from around the world, get a little history of Montreal, and try food/ drinks at different restaurants around the various neighborhoods in the city. They have tours in Old Montreal, the Mile End, Little Italy, and the Latin Quarter.
I did the Brew Pub tour in the Latin Quarter last year and had a great time. While walking to the different microbreweries, the guide will give you a little perspective on the history of the area (Why is it called Latin Quarter? Hint it is not an ethnic reference.) Point out locations of old style brothels, gangster hangouts etc. We ended up at BENELUX on Sherbrooke. Had a great strawberry beer - Cricket. Our group stayed together long after the official tour ended -great conversation, good pub food, and brews. In fact I had such a good time, I barely got back to my hotel for my next appointment.
Old Montreal restaurant tour gives you a chance to sample different cuisines and maybe find a new favorite restaurant. Also you may come across a movie set because alot of Hollywood movies are filmed there. (On my tour, we came across an X-Man movie set.)
On the Golden Mile restaurant tour, we came across a free outdoor concert by a local Montreal band - the Barr Brothers.
So I highly recommend the walking tours. I have done several. and always had a great time. Great way to pass the time waiting for your next visit - learn about the history of wonderful Montreal and socialize with some interesting and adventurous people from around the world.

What I do while in Montreal weather dependant. Crescent street area for night entertainment, the bio-dome anytime but usually when the weather is bad outside, July and Aug many festivals to go to plus La Ronde, and if you don't mind a short drive. There is Arbraska park.

I enjoy walking in the South Shore "mountains". Mont Saint-Hilaire is a great place to go for a hike, and lots of little "farms" selling fruits, cider, wine, etc. Put in your gps https://maps.app.goo.gl/na4WCCU8HUV67KX58. There is also St. Bruno, but I prefer St. Hilaire.
