Still think Sam Brinton who worked in the Biden administration until he got caught stealing female luggage in multiple airports (you can’t make this up) could scare Iran or the taliban into peace. He is their worst nigjtmare!

Both parties have an extremist wing. Where the republicans have gaetz and mtg the democrats have cori bush and ilhan omar.

The biggest difference is that the republican party is more grass roots while the democratic party is more establishment. A good example of this is delegates to choose the presidential nominee. Republicans go straight to state delegates while democrats reserve 1/3 of the vote to super delegates who represent the party establishment.

Trump would likely not have won a contested primary with super delegates. This of course is assuming a contested primary which almost never happen nowadays. You can ask Biden about this, he had the establishment on his side in 2020 to block Bernie and then in 2024 until the establishment turned on him!
Before trump and MAGA both parties had extremist wings. The Dems still do. The Republicans are now an extremist party with a moderate wing.

In case you forgot, Biden won Georgia and Nevada in 2020. This should be considered an alarming development, for Democrats. Harris's job is to defend blue states, not cause them to go red.

In case you don't know, Georgia is a heavily black state, and if Harris can't win it, she should not run for Dogcatcher.

For Georgia you can assume some election shenanigans as it is one state both parties have denied elections in.

Democrat candidate Stacey Abrams still playing word games to imply cheating but says it is different when Trump does it.

In case you don't know and forgot...not that long BIDEN was way far far behind---10/12 pts in some----and now they are on a close fight in all those battlegrounds states...with KAMALA doing very well......it's a new ball game.... back to what we have experienced in last
elections.

I do assume shenanigans in Georgia but even with shenanigans, Harris should be able to win that state easily. If she doesn't she will be in trouble. She cannot lose states that bled blue in 2020. That's her task. Don't lose them.

Dude is grasping at straws. Kamala was AG of California & VP of USA...she's super squeaky clean so he has NOTHING on her.

Just name calling - that's all his narcissistic, syphilitic brain can come up with now.

Georgia is an historically red state. Even Obama didn't win Georgia in either 2008 or 2012. Harris has several paths to 270 electoral college votes without winning Georgia.

Is Abrams running for president and claiming the last election was stolen from her? No. Did Abrams ask the Georgia Secretary of Stste to find her 11780 votes? No. Did Abrams ask the DOJ to say the election was corrupt? No. Did Abrams conspire to replace legitimate electors with false electors? No. Did Abrams foment a riot to stop the certification process and then do nothing for 3 hours to stop the assault on the Capitol? No.

But that doesn't matter because Georgia's demographics have changed. The growth and diversification of Atlanta's suburbs in recent years shattered the Republican stronghold there, leading to Biden victory in 2020. The "history" of which you speak no longer exists:

Oh please. Trump won Georgia 4 years earlier. Demographics don't change that quickly. After 4 years of Trump even historically red Georgia voted him out of office.

I don't think so- they would target the Republican Convention to get their views advanced by Trump. Everything I have read is that it will be anti-war protests by various groups, protesting a war they believe was permitted by the Biden Administration, not the Trump Administration, although ironically, Trump is likely a greater friend to Israel than Biden or Harris is:

Protesters at Democratic Convention set to wreak havoc on Chicago, Convention and Harris:
These are mostly far left extremists who feel abandoned by Harris and the Democratic Party, although they really have nowhere to go.

Chicago Police will be tested. This isn't their first rodeo.
I don't think anyone knows who these pro-Palestinian protesters will be. Palestinians for sure but not "mostly" left wing Dems. Trying to compare what hasn't even happened yet with the1968 anti Vietnam war protests is ridiculous. The violence in 1968 was caused by the overreaction by the police. I seriously doubt the police will initiate the violence like they did in 1968. Hopefully the protests are peaceful. If anyone is to blame for the mess in Gaza it's Netanyahu not Biden or Harris.

That is not how they see it. They see Biden or Harris as the man or woman in the dog park who doesn't restrain their pit bull from attacking and killing the much smaller Shih Tzu. They do not blame the pit bull (Netanyahu), which does what pit bulls will do. They blame the perceived person who controls the pit bull. Biden, and now Harris. That is why they are there. The Democrats are those who hold the power over this situation.

It's actually the BBC who compared the situation with 1968- not me. The common factors are war and Chicago. I do not believe the police will react the same way, but the protesters in 2024 can be expected to behave much more aggressively than their 1968 counterparts, whose biggest sin was mainly to try and lower the American flag. The 2024 protesters are out to get attention and provoke a response from the Chicago police. What the response will be, we will need to wait and see. The protest agenda will be to disrupt, and create an atmosphere of chaos. Cops do not like being egged or bullied any more than anyone else.

I believe they may even follow the blueprint laid by the Ottawa trucker protest. At least to some extent.
