Why is that? She's smart. She's qualified. She's been a local DA, a state AG, a US senator, a VP. She's been electable.
She is NOT electable in a national election- the other 3 are. The Democrats would make a colossal mistake running her as opposed to the other 3. She is way too far to the left- look at the history of Presidential elections of such candidates. All lost in landslides. She also lacks polish and you guys absolutely have not paid any attention to what has gone on with her the last 4 years.
Her staff was a revolving door the last 4 years- that's who you want running as President?????

Not sure who the "other 3" are but do they even want to run and how do they get enough support to get nominated? The convention is next month. If you're conerned about staff attrition you should be shocked about the staff turnover during the previous administration.

Trump is a highly polished populist which is why he got elected President once. Harris isn't a polished at anything. All 3 of the other potential nominees are more qualified and better candidates, and more importantly can win in 2028 if not 2024.

Gender and race are irrelevant. The only question should be is she qualified, based on on intellect and experience, to be POTUS. The answer is yes.
In principle I agree with you.., but sadly in the united states of america.., gender and race are still relevant in 2024. She has a huge glass ceiling over her head.

For me somebody who is polished means: sophisticated, gracefull and confident..., Where Trumps lacks in the first two, I agree he is hugely confident.

Huey Long was a polished populist. JD Vance may portray one someday.

Regarding other potential candidates they would need to scramble to get sufficient delegate support prior to the convention. Harris has a huge advantage since Biden has endorsed her. If this becomes an open, multiple rounds of voting convention, l am fine with that too. I hope the Dems nominate their strongest candidate.

Kamala is someone with good character and will do a good job...even Trump thinks so.

After all, he made a donation of $6K to her AG campaign back in 2011, LOL :p

So Kamala took a bribe donation from a pathological felon and then did not prosecute him? If Trump is so bad why did she accept the donation?

Or… did Trump learn more about kamala over time in the same way that kamala learned more about Trump?

Also, Trump got Bill and Hillary Clinton to attend his wedding by giving them a donation! Money talks…

But gender and race are not irrelevant to the left.

The left keeps harping on these themes and Biden promised his VP would be a black woman (so a gendered and racial promise).

I believe she could be a great president but the polls had her lose 2 weeks ago. That poll set Michelle Obama to win over Trump !?! At first I was laughing but then I realized Michelle Obama went to Princeton and Harvard so I will shut up now.
