Biden is too old and incapacitated to serve.......do we really need polls to tell us this? Do we have to install surveillance cameras in the forests to learn whether Bears shit in the woods? The problem is Biden's selfishness in refusing to step aside. If you have an Alzheimer's patient in your family, you know that they are the last one to know that anything is wrong. The playbook on Alzheimers is to not argue with the patient or contradict or upset the patient, lest you confuse and agitate him. So his family is following that playbook and denying that there is any cognitive issue. Which is why someone needs to step in and do something. I am surprised more people are not upset by this situation and demanding the removal of this obvious incompetent by any means necessary. No one person or family can be allowed to hijack a country like this.

$64,000 question. One would hope that an ambitious candidate has seen this coming since the debate and has been planning on being a nominee. The Democratic National Convention is still a month away. But they need to build a consensus quickly. I see Gavin Newsome as the best chance. Kamala Harris is absolutely not electable. Newsome has a puncher's chance!

The SC venerates the constitution. That is the reason they sent Roe v Wade to states (or congress to make an actual law rather than a weak ass constitutional claim).
PS: Biden should try to make abortion legal at the federal level as his last project in 2024.

You are not senile until you show that you are. Biden has been exhibiting senility since he was elected and it has accelerated in the last year to the point that he was obviously unfit for any elected office including dogcatcher. In the case of my close relative it appeared at a much younger age and he is in worse shape than Biden at age 76.
Although he is somewhat nutty, Trump seems to be acting with deliberation and full cognition. You may not agree with what he is doing, but he knows what he is doing. That could change, of course, and if it does, he deserves the same fate as Biden: to be pressured to step down.
Now we have to see what cognitive improvement we will see from the TBD Democratic nominee, which I hope is not Kamala Harris.
