With the recession coming the Dems better hope the impact starts after the election as it could be a game changer.
Harris & Walz is a very strong pair and a vastly superior choice to the MAGA ticket.
Walz was a huge mistake. Minnesota is a blue state. Why???????? Why?????????? She should have gone with the younger Governor from Pennsylvania. Harris will lose Pennsylvania. Apart from being the State I was born in, it's a much bigger electoral vote than fucking Minnesota which is going blue anyway.

I don't think you can call Walz a mistake. Vance yes but Walz no. He's a solid pick. A former congressman and current governor. He is a common man who governs for personal rights and freedoms who will relate well with Midwesterners, independents, and women.
Walz has a solid legislative rep - as Governor, he signed bills for : massive investment in public education, reproductive rights protections, increased worker protections, marijuana legalization plus previous offenses expunged, and automatic voter registration.
Not only that, he was a public school teacher for 20 years so he knows how to deal with children.

You guys have completely lost your collective minds in an effort to believe (or hope) that Kamala Harris is making proper decisions. You need electoral votes to win an election in the USA!!!!!!!! Duh!!!!!!!! The obvious correct decision was Josh Shapiro! Did it occur to any of you that maybe PA's votes decide the election? Its 19 votes.

That's true. And he lost PA in 2020. Shapiro would have helped in keeping PA blue in 2024, but the VP selection is more nuanced than that.

Then why did trump pick Vance instead of someone from a battleground state? Ohio is solidly red. I think the last VP picked to successfully turn his state was when JFK chose LBJ to help win Texas in 1962.
He picked Vance precisely and deliberately to win the Battleground states. Vance isn't from Ohio, and it's believed he will help with the younger voters in the Midwest due to his background. If you read the below and watch the movie Hillbilly Elegy, you will know what I am talking about:

I don't like and will not vote for either Trump or Harris, but it's obvious to me Trump is playing to win and Harris is not. I kind of wish we can fast forward to 2028 at this point and start all over and be past these horrible candidates.
Respectfully, trump is running to stay out of jail. He s doing nothing to win over independents - all he does is throw red meat to his base while basically calling his VP pick irrelevant. Harris has awoken Dems and has momentum, enthusiasm, and money pouring into her campaign. She has selected a solid well-liked and successful Midwestern VP candidate and is most definitely running to win and has the wind at her back.
