The Canadian press: Trump is rushed off stage due to " apparent " gunfire.
Too late, sort of. He's practically the second coming of Jesus now for many of his supporters. This event has really made him seem superhuman to them.
I would have thought the SS protocol would be to shoot the assassin before he got off a volley of shots, not after the guy they are supposed to protect is down. After all, lots of spectators saw the guy and alerted the SS that there was a guy on the roof with a gun, and the SS had snipers in place.
The prime minister of japan was assassinated by bullet a few years ago at a political rally. That’s hardly a stretch of an equivalence…

Staged no......planned yes, just like JFK's assassination. The threat to the elite establishment is too great. It is unheard of in today's age for a gunman to do exactly what they did at a high-profile event in the US, in particular anything to do with a President. It was a simple turn of the head that saved his life otherwise he would be dead.
I would suggest that Trump's biggest challenge is to remain alive long enough to spill the beans and clean up the toxic mess that Washington and the US and by extension, all Western democracies have become.
If this man comes to power for a second term there will be profound changes as he knows precisely what is happening. I would imagine many high-profile elites in the US preparing for this moment as they are complicit in this.

The rifle belonged to his father and he would borrow it to go to the shooting range to practice.
so the father that day thought nothing stange about this... apparently!
He goes to a trump Ralley, carrng a rifle.....walks up to a building with a perfect vantage point
gets on the roof and not 1 cop or secret service see him???
he has at least 3 minutes to set up and get a shot off!
We as observer,s after the fact, can see this was a location with a clear line of sight!
How can the person in charge of security, not have had any agents on this roof!

That woman did nothing wrong besides looking clumsy and unqualified on the job site, it’s just another example where nowadays DEI is prioritized over qualifications and efficiency.
The real issue is that in these extreme pressure/high danger situation it makes things a little more dangerous for everyone if you have several weak links in your chain.

A bigger issue was the Secret Service got intelligence that the Iranians wanted to get their assassination attempt in on Trump, and they were aware of that before the local kid climbed on the roof and got in his shot.
