As for how much you make, regardless if you reinvest or not you are still making great money, and reinvesting is a personal choice not an obligation.

She said reinvest *in our business*. Business expenses aren't exactly a choice. If I want to advertise it costs money. My incall costs me money (rent, hydro and internet). Supplies cost money (condoms, lube, lingerie, wipes etc).

I mean sure one could say it's a choice, I could walk the street instead of advertising. I could receive you at motel bourassa which costs less than my incall or any other hotel, and we could fuck without protection instead of buying condoms. But somehow I feel like this isn't safe nor fair for anyone involved, and I feel like this isn't exactly the type of experience you're looking for either.

So no. Expenses aren't really optional if we're trying to offer a certain level of service.

As for the assumptions that our job is low skill... We are sex athletes. We are secretaries. We are marketting specialists. We are web designers. We are counselors. We are stylists and makeup artists. We are sex instructors. We are disability support workers. We are travel agents. We are so much more than just the holes you see us as.

Ahah! I wanted to include that or therapist but most of us haven't studied these fields and aren't licensed. I don't know about therapist, but I know that you cannot legally say you're a psychologist if you don't have the proper education/licensing. Which is why I said counselor instead :p

The problem with your comment is you are talking more about yourself and a small sample of escorts that do the things you listed. You seem the ignore the countless agency girls and outcall only girls who do not need to pay for an incall location. I would hardly consider lube and condoms a business expense, that is like saying my gas to get to work is a business expense, or buying steel toe boots to work on a construction site. You need those things to do your job. So yes if you do rent out an incall for yourself than sure. Advertising does cost money yes. All these things are true. But if you actually expect me to believe that escorts aren’t making good money even with these « bussiness expensives » i don’t know what to tell you. Most of you would not be in this line of work if it didn’t pay well. Even if you are only taking in 50% net of your gross. That still puts you in the top 5 to 1% of earners. And thats before all the money you guys make from tips, gifts onlyfans and anything similar.

As for all those job description tags you put. Again a very gross generalization. Most escorts don’t even have 2 of those skills let alone all of them. Also just because you partake in something or do something doesn’t mean you are good at it, most people aren’t. Yeah alot of escorts have « designed a webpage » but i’ve seen some pretty awful ones. You claim escorts are sex instructors, I know you are but most aren’t. As for secretaries I’ve read enough reviews to know many escorts are horrible at doing their own bookings, also if you think you answering a few texts and emails = secretary, you are really downplaying all the great work secretaries do everyday. Proclaiming you and every escort is a market specialist is very amusing and just straight up false. I say all this not with malicious intent. I’m aware that there are alot of hard working escorts that take alot of pride in their work and do a stellar job in multiple areas. I’m sure just by your reputation that you are one of those. But do not act like you are the majority, if anything that just downplays all your success and « skills » you possess.

This grandstanding you are trying to do in the name of every sp does you no favors. It just makes you come off as both unrealistic and a bit of a superiority complex towards other people who specialize in all the fields you mentioned. Also just as Lili did you once again prove my point that there are many sex workers with an incredibly toxic mindset about any client who does or says something they do not agree with. Calling masogony and claiming i am hateful towards sps and consider them just holes. I have alot of respect towards sps. I even have a post on this very sub giving a profound thank you to all the sps that have been good and kind to me and all the experiences they have given me. If you search my profile u will most likely find it.

This is kind of getting out of hand.
I think that if you even unintentionally belittle someone’s profession you are very likely to get responses like Lili and Julia.
Nobody likes to be told that they are overpaid and getting much more than their skill set is worth even when it may not be directed specifically at them but to their profession. Yes, just like in any profession there will be people who are not doing such a great job and reaping the benefits of those who are.

Do I like the way prices have gone with SP, of course I would prefer it to be more affordable just like for gas and food and everything else, at the same time everybody expects to be paid what they think they are worth and will try to achieve the highest salary available why should SP be any different.
You can either afford their rates or not it is really that simple.

On a personal note I know Julia for many years now she is one of the kindest and most thoughtful young ladies I have met. Yes she is protective of her profession just like most people would be of theirs.
I don’t think this “grandstanding” is anything more than trying to make people understand everything that is involved with being an SP and I am sure if anything it is showing that she cares.

I agree that it has gotten out of hand and this whole thing is detracting from my original point. That there are alot of toxic sps on twitter with alot of horrible comments made towards the client population and not just a specific individual, and it stems from entitlement.

I would agree with that there are a number of SP on twitter that do nothing but client bashing.
I don’t really understand what they are trying to achieve with that.
They may be endearing themselves to like minded SP who hate what they are doing and their clients, but I don’t see how that helps their business as I would not go near any of those.
I prefer to think they are a minority as the ones I have met and see are amazing women and a total pleasure to spend time with.

I think the client bashing Twitter trend peaked about 2-3 years ago and most escorts have come to their senses and stopped it.
Those few who continue to rant make it easier for us to weed them out.

Its a bit of a psychology trick. If someone post "gifts" she received that are very expensive, its a way to make the other guys who see her "shamefull" if they give her a basic object or nothing at all. I wouldn't be surprised half if not more of those expensive gifts are actually bough by the SP themselves with their work money ;)

This was also very popular on youtube a few years ago. Hot youtubers opening packages sent by fan. Sometimes it was trinklet or hand made cards, but sometimes stuff that must have cost at least a 100 or more. Im sure some guys had a kick of seeing her open their package in the video and see her being happy about it etc.

As for the downright ebegging, i guess if the profile is a dom profile its alright... but when i see this on a regular SP profile, to me its immediate turn off, i unsubscribe from her. Im not talking 1 time when she truly need it due to a bad situation, but constant doing it for crazy prices item like purses at 2000$+ (wich i think is litteraly obscene being at such a price for a damn "sacoche" lol...)

As for client bashing, yeah another mega turn off. I understand they are humans and not every day is hookie dookie rainbow and sunshine, but this is basically your work account. You need to act professional. You should make a personal account to vent and express frustrations.

In any cases, i saw that this actually is less present lately, or it may be because i got blocked by all these SPs  :p wich either way is cool by me lol.

Haha it's like you're in my head with this post. I recently stumbled on a new (to me) SP and decided to check out her Twitter. I can honestly say this SP was the first Twitter I've seen that helped me make up my mind NOT to see her. So social media as a whole is a time waster, but seeing how an SP represents herself on social media can be highly illuminating indeed.

I like social medias for a lot of things beside SPs (video game and movie news, communities about both etc) so i wouldn't say its a time waste but thats just my POV. That said the rest of your message made me laugh. ;)

“I do not provide a Menu of Services that I may or may not offer. I’m not a Restaurant “

Ok…
On My Work Resume I list My previous Employment, Talents, and Experiences.

Is this a Menu, or “useful” information for my next Employer (Client)?

This Resume (Menu) may help me get my next Job (Client)…

Not at all the same thing. Frankly, you should know that.

If you require a predetermined contract for each and every sexual act that you expect, that is certainly not a problem. You simply find a provider who feels comfortable with that.

But why throw shade at providers who are honest up front? Would it be better if she didn't specify this and then said no to during the session?

It's her body, she has the right to choose how she handles her business. There's some pretty  stuff on twitter, I agree. But I think that many or most of us do not think of ourselves as restaurants with menus.

For me, personally - the item on the menu is GFE. I will never feel comfortable publishing an explicit list of the chef's special ingredients. If you need more details you can tell me in a tasteful way what you are looking for (hopefully not 20 accronyms you are absolutely not even going to have time for in a 1hr appointment), something like 2 or 3 'must-haves'. Then I can tell you if this is something I offer. But I'm a person, not a restaurant.

Also remember that in the US, they can't discuss any specific services, so it's impossible for providers to give the list of ingredients. Many will stop communication immediately if a client even mentions anything sexual. I don't know if the provider you're quoting was American but if she was, it makes sense that she'd write that.

Someone else mentioned our work being low skilled. Others have addressed this very well but as low skilled as you want to claim it is (which it is most definitely not, as mentioned there are a lot of skills required just as any owner running a service based small business on their own), I'd like to see people who believe this do it. Not many of you would have the skills to do our low skills job. ;)

As much as it can be helpful to a lot of guys to list Menu items I can understand an SP being uncomfortable with that and yes I tend to agree that it is not a restaurant.
I know the lady that tweet came from and was actually thinking of seeing her as what she said I don’t find offensive at all and she happens to come across as a nice person who seems to appreciate her clients and doesn’t indulge in bashing them not to mention she is gorgeous.
I don’t really need menu items listed there are polite ways of communicating and finding out if things will work out for you.

As far as being skilled, I think some of the ladies I have seen are exceptionally skilled not just in the bedroom but how to entertain and how to make someone feel welcome. This must not be easy with a perfect stranger no matter their age or looks. I for one appreciate their skills and feel lucky to be able to spend time with such fabulous women.

i don’t know why you decided to post this bit about 60 percent of men not knowing how to wash their junk or what the intent behind it was and what it has to do with anything. Yes I get that reading that some consider your profession as not needing any skill must be hard to take and it was in retaliation to that.
This was kind of uncalled for as I am sure all of us could look up articles about feminine hygiene also and it achieves nothing.

This was kind of uncalled for as I am sure all of us could look up articles about feminine hygiene also and it achieves nothing.

Actually, it relates to both things I was commenting on.

1- It's a reminder of our working conditions...and why a list detailed menu of services may be something some providers might prefer not to publish and why YMMV is not some scam as someone seemed to be saying.

2- Because I was saying not many of you could do what we do. How to handle a situation when you're dealing with someone with bad hygiene who is expecting a service you've promised... Is a skill! (dealing with people is a skill, dealing with people in a delicate situation like that is a skill I don't think many of you could pull off)

I would not put that number as high as 60% for clients but if 60% of civs dont know how to wash their junk, it means it's still a real issue we deal with.

If the number was anywhere that high among providers, there wouldn't be many getting repeat bookings. I would assume the % of bad genital hygiene among providers is very low.

It was a meant as a funny but very real example. Its not insulting to anyone who has good penis hygiene. I'm not offended if the stats are as high for women. Proper genital hygiene is a crucial part of my low skill work, so I'm pretty well versed, as are most providers. Lol

I'm just being silly, really. The low skills, low education etc comment was far more uncalled for than a relevant example like the one I provided IMO. However, it wasn't meant to offend, so my apologies if it did. xo

It didn’t offend I just didn’t know what to make of it and why you would post that. It just didn’t seem to fit the topic being discussed.
Yes I would think that well reviewed SP are not likely to have hygiene issues at least I have never encountered any.
As far as skills I think I have mentioned it before, that I think the ladies I have seen are highly skilled not just in the bedroom but in being a companion making someone feel at ease and wanted which cannot be easy.
Personally I feel lucky to be able to see the handful of gorgeous women that I have been seeing they are total sweethearts and a pleasure to spent time with.
As far as education required there really isn’t any per se, some that I have seen are highly educated some while they may not have university degrees are just as smart, not all intelligence is measured by that. I have worked most of my life with highly educated engineers, both metallurgical, and mechanical and some of them were dull boring and just plain obnoxious so I don’t measure intelligence by the number of degrees someone has but how they act and treat you. There is also a big difference in being book smart and life smart.
