Hey guys, me and my buddies are going up to Montreal Memorial Day weekend in May, and if you're a UFC fan you know that Chuck Liddel is fighting Quinton Jackson that weekend. Can anyone recommend some good bars in montreal where we can watch the UFC fight? The closer to St. Catherine's the better..

There has to be a bar somewhere in Montreal where they will have it on. I am going to have the same problem when I am up there.

I know that the Skratch in lasalle shows all UFC events. It's not to far from downtown. I've gone to see a few UFC and boxing events there. Lots of big screens and hot waitresses.

Champs on ST.Laurent is the best place to watch a sporting event in Montreal especially UFC fights, in fact i will be there tonight watching the Yankees slaughter the Red Sox.

There is a place on St-Jacques steet called PJ's pub, that is where I watch all of the UFC events. It is across the street facing the Chablis. It is also a minute walk from the Amazones, a nice strip club.

Champs on St.Laurent's st., any Cage Aux Sports restaurant downtown (there is one on corner of Rene Levesque and Mackay),any Skratch location, pretty sure Sharks and Peel pub show it as well, as well as many smaller bars in the downtown area. so, to sum it up, the first 3 locations listed above have it FOR SURE, and the other probably do, I just haven't watched it in one of these places personnaly, so I listed them as probably. hope that helps guys...

Hello everyone,

I had the pleasure to meet GSP Monday night. I was coming out of the store at a gas station and came face to face with him as I opened the door. He seems like a cool guy but evasive at the same time. I guess he doesn't have to be reminded that he lost against Matt Serra, I know I wouldn't want people talking to me about it. Anyway, I thought I'd share this with you guys. It was quite a pleasant surprise for me, I would of never expected it.

PS: He seems to be a simple guy, he was driving a Nissan XTerra. Personally, I would of sold the damn thing. XTerra and Serra sound too much alike.

UFC Coming to Montreal......

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure I heard Dana White in an interview with someone off of Rogers Sportnet last weekend state that he is looking into the UFC having an event in Montreal with GSP as the main event. Now that would be a weekend to be in Montreal and I will be there one way or another.
Has anyone else heard anything about this?????
