This is a selfish, low vision ploy who will contributes in providing ammunition to those who want strip clubs closed. All they want is to make a quick buck without any regards to the big picture.
Hopefully, they will get a visit from the morality squad quickly and be forced to close the windows. Laws are often created because of a stupid minority who abuse the established tolerance. A strip club with an outside show, I'm pretty certain this isn't the image Montréal want to project to all the tourists who are in town!

So, there's no shows? Just the girls walking around and talking to customers while wearing bikini or other, but not naked? Then it's right it's not worst than on a beach or "les pitounes de F1". What I'm saying is there should be no strip show visible from the outside.

If a girl starts talking to you & suggests you go sit at a table to talk, be careful. Same thing if she asks if she can sit down at your table. The meter might unknowingly be running while you're just talking with her. A couple of years ago, it happened to be. I yapped away with the girl for over an hour. She danced twice for me during that time. When it was time to leave, she told me i owed her $100 for her time. I was told by a friend who's a regular there (he goes to play the slot machines) that this is the norm at this club. Whether or not the girl dances for you, the meter is still running as long as she's keeping you company.

I guess it's a tourist trap kind of bullshit some girls try to pull.
