I'm grateful I get to see, I have an overall positive impact on those around me, and am at the point to see the small ways I have helped them maked big impacts on their present successes. When you see people bloom around you.
I am proud of them for their success.
And in this I not only include my older kids and their succeses, but have recently been thanked for the pushes in positive direction from a regular who was reaching his lowest when we first met, and over the last 2 years has gotten over substance abuse, alcoholism and working on better health. I was flattered when he told me how my gentle pushes and guidance helped keep him going and he is seeing what he lost coming back into his life, and sees a positive future ahead.
I am grateful, there are people who can appreciate us for so much more than just the initial reason for contact.
