Different eras of my life had different movies that I watched constantly.

1980s as a teenager
1. National Lampoon's Vacation
2. The Terminator
3. Beverly Hills Cop
4. Bachelor Party
5. Revenge of the Nerds

1990s as a young adult
1. The Terminator part 2
2. Die Hard (Even though the movie came out in the late 1980s and I saw it in the movie theatre when it came out and wasnt really in awe with it when it came out, I was somehow drawn to it over and over again in the 1990s in part because part 2 came out and it was good but not as good as the first one and I started appreciating the genius of Alan Rickman's acting in the first one)
3. Casino, Goodfellas and Donnie Brasco
4. Naked Gun, files from police squad

Late 1990s and early 2000s as a single dude not quite yet with a wife and kids
1. Any Given Sunday
2. Smokey and the Bandit Yes...a movie from the 1970s and I watched it constantly in the late 1990s. I always loved a 2nd gen Trans Am as a young kid in the 1970s and well, I also enjoyed watching Jackie Gleason in that movie.
3. Saving Private Ryan
4. Slap Shot Yes...another 1970s movie. I knew about this movie in the 1980s, because of the beauty of VHS movie rentals and late night TV channels when they started to go beyond midnight and they just played it constantly, and especially on the French channels...in French. I just got re-acquainted with this movie at this point in time again and was watching it frequently. I guess Any Given Sunday sparked my interest in this movie in the early 2000s.

Becoming a husband and father from the early 2000s to today
1. Any Star Wars movie
2. Any Pirates of the Caribbean movie well it was 1-3 only.
3. Planes Trains and Automobiles during the week of American Thanksgiving and National Lampoons Christmas Vacation and Home Alone during Xmas time
4. The Shawshank Redemption
5. A League of their Own.

And the 3 movies that I could watch all the time and that stood the test of pop culture time for me that I could watch over and over and over without missing a scene for 1 second.

1. Planes Trains and Automobiles. (I still laugh hard at the fucks that Steve Martin dishes out at the rental counter and the gobble gobble just before that tirade of his. That and I love John Candy)
2. Star Wars A New Hope
3. The Good the Bad and the Ugly
