I did! I made a life size model of Alex for my english class in 2nd year of High School lol. I wish they had kept a few details about Alex’s vices in the movie, but at that time and even now, it would have been too taboo to include . It makes you look at him differently let’s say.

That's awesome, Yumi. So, you're a sculptor? Life size model? Wow! I'm impressed. The character of Alex the droogie is a complex one, isn't he? I mean, the very essence of him was inclined to commit to evil acts, but based entirely on the notion of 'free will.' I think that is what Burgess ... and Kubrick were after. How ironic that when the State 'rehabilitated him, he was ultimately deprived of his 'free will, the very essence of his humanity.
