hello guys, Just booked 3 nights stay at montreal for my spring break, and pretty much know which agency, massages, and strip joints to check out. What else would be fun for a single traveller to do for a short stay? Thanks

You know when I go to Montreal it is usually as part of a business trip so I don`t have too much time for daytime activities. My nighttime activities revolve around sex but I will say the shopping is outstanding for both men`s and women`s clothing. You can get a god deal on Lingerie from Paris and also on shoes. Coats from Italy. You will find some cutting edge styles and I was even able to bargain with them in the mall. And like the escorts, the choices are boundless and you will enjoy the people watching. I don`t really like to shop but I do like to in Montreal. You also should eat on Crescent street or try a Smoked Meat sandwich at Swartz Deli. The great thing is that you can walk the streets at very late hours and find a good place to dine along with a multitude of watering holes. For a strip club, guys like Cleo`s but the best ones are off island so I rarely go. Le Gentleman`s is a good off island club I visited and you can get a BJ for 80$. A perfect day for me is a bottle of wine and an escort starting at 9 or 10PM and then I go out for a bite at Midnight and then hit a few bars on Crescent, St Cathrines, Ontario etc. You may even find another date at the wee hours of the morning as I did last trip.

I would say a walk on the mountain to the look-out would be high on my list of stuff to do.
The other must is old Montreal in my opinion.
Shopping the underground city you may find interesting.
Bar scenes on either St-denis or Crescent street.
McGill's grounds are nice, there's teh Montreal fine art's museum and the McCord Museum (history).

In the winter it can be harsh to do alot of tourism. But in the summer months Ive taken tours and seen alot of the city by subway. I strongly recommend taking the tours that highlights the many churches of Montreal, it makes for great conversation later that evening. If your lucky enough to find a buddy to meet up with that can be great also to swap stories.
If you are a history buff then maybe pricey brunch at the Mount St Stephen Club (guided tour of historic house included) might be your cup of tea.

Underground shopping mall (thursday and friday stores opened till 9
m + st-catherine street (everrything some stripclubs and as time passes mostly clothing ((...boringCrescent street and surrounding streets (bars, dance clubs and restaurants); also Mcgibbins irish pub on Mckay is good. Their hamburgers are great. Their are many good irish pubs...but that one is my fav.
St-Laurent street (below sherbrooke: chinatown filled with restaurants chinese and vietnamese, cleos (intersection st-catherine; although area is being destroyed by the city for a corporate tower) + (above sherbrooke: night clubs and restaurants; lots of life after 12)
Old montreal (a bit of everything; many restaurants; for a good steak you could go to Gibby's).
St-Denis (mostly restaurants)
Mont-Royal (plateau) some restaurants and bars
Food:
I agree with the schwartz's suggestion (on st-laurent north of sherbrooke)
Also you should give poutine a try; a good place is la banquise on Rachel (it is opened 24 hrs) or any belle province is pretty good
Montreal steamie hot-dogs and fries (belle province)
Montreal has many vietnamese and chinese restaurants ( you could find many in chinatown although they are scattered throughout the city
