What happened to the VIP events?

The parties were a hell of a lot of fun over the years and kept on getting bigger & better. The first parties i attended were held at the Hotel de la Montagne piano bar and were usually organized by former merbites who had good inside knowledge of the business. I had always promised myself never to attend such parties but Cloudsurf kind of twisted my arm and got me to attend my first one with him. On the way there we picked up Special K at the Novotel. It was the first time i had met Special K and we became good friends/drinking buddies afterwards. I also think it was at that first party that i attended that i met the likes of SL, Oliver K, Tom & Breadman for the first time. It was also at that party that i bumped into my #2 ever SP who was now an agency owner. She didn't remember meeting me a few years earlier but seemed to enjoy me recalling that time we had met. She was surprised to hear that i hadn't really had a good time & had sworn to myself never to see another sp again for the rest of my life.....but i changed my mind less than a year later! lol
Afterwards the Celine Fantasies dinners came along and many of them were held just prior to a merb party (at HDLM) and many of the attendees would head there afterwards.
And then Igna discovered Mtl and later decided to organize a few gatherings in cooperation with one or more agencies. First one of those i attended was held at the former Hotel Lord Berri. Attended a few more there and later at several clubs along Crescent street, which in my opinion were the best parties i attended. Man, they were a blast!!
For ten years the parties were responsible to get me to travel to Mtl as frequently as i used to. I really loved bumping into newly-found friends i had met prior and during the parties. I loved catching up to whatever was going on in our respective lives, talk about the ladies, the agencies and especially hockey. I loved meeting new ladies i likely would never have met otherwise.
Igna whom at one time i considered a very good friend simply decided to move on to other things for various reasons. No different than many of the other buddies i have met through this 'business' over the years. Many have found other places to 'hobby' where they get more value for their hard-earned dollars. Others prefer to 'hobby' where the weather is warmer. Others have found favorite ladies in those newly found hobbying places. Many have found other friends. And many have simply retired for their own personal reasons including finding a wife or girlfriend(s), switching jobs/careers or simply moving on to other things.
I now only travel to Mtl 2-3 times a year (out of habit, i guess) but i'll admit that i do miss the parties. They were a heck of a lot of fun!
By the way, Igna wasn't alone in organizing the parties. He had a good team assisting him and were it not for them the parties never would have achieved the success that they did. A good team is always important for a 'leader' to have success and this was no different here.

The VIP parties were run as a for-profit business by a non-resident of Canada. That did not play well with the authorities.- Partly accurate, the organizer put in a lot of time, hard work and effort into putting these events together and it wasn't easy, if it was solely for profit he was severley underpaid.
It had nothing to do with C-36 - Totally agree, C-36 has absolutely no effect on escorting in general in Canada, there is a reason why sometimes it is hard to book a 4 hour room at the greatest place on earth the Chabrol(man, I hate waiting for a room to be available), every law enforcement agent and their grandmother in Quebec knows what goes on there and other places like it and they do absolutely zilch about it, the only thing that C-36 has caused was to make people who were already paranoid even more paranoid.

The only illegal activity was an American running a business in Canada.- Accurate about an American running a business in Canada, no comment on the only illegal activity.
Any legal Canadian resident could re-start them without problem.- 100 percent accurate.
I know that it's a lot of work and it's time consuming but I really hope that someone eventually picks up the ball and puts another one together as these events were a lot of fun and it brought the community together, the last one that I attended put on by Rosie Sparkles was awesome, life is short and I for one would like to have as much fun as possible.:thumb:

I just want to go on record again as saying I loved the parties. Those were fun times. I made a lot of friends and laughed a lot. Those were good times. I especially liked the three I went to at the Lord Berri. I hope they don't ever remodel that lounge. What great times...thanks for the memories. Miss you guys.
Its kinda funny in a way, at first i loved those parties. I had the most fun personally at GG2 and later at the "Unicorn House Party" . GG2 i guess is more personal because most of the guest were kicked out earlier due to neighbors but a few lucky ones like me managed to stay and the rest was GREAT (well it was great even before for me, as i had some fun time alone with someone lol) at both the room and afterward at the stripclub.
The Unicorn house party was really epic because it felt like a frat party. Only guys where in general older than what you would see in movies. It was a house, peoples were chilling out every floor, on top it was louder/more party atmosphere and on the other floors it was more relax and chatting. At some points we were hanging in the stairs and well its i think the only party that had "personal time" happening in the venue.
On top of that that party probably had the best gathering of ladies of all party. Not only the hot Unicorns were there (Hanna/Sasha, Sonia and others) but the MTL GFE girls, lots of indies (including high end ones like Erika Delarose, this is where i met her in person the first time) and even a few superstars from other agencies (Jennifer for instance)
Add to that that it was pay one fee, drink all you want (something pretty usefull for a guy like me as i can tank a lot lol) and to me it was the almost PERFECT SET UP for a party ever.
But to get back on what i was saying, at first had a lot of fun, but then the parties became so frequent and a bit more "basic" i think they kinda lost their appeal to me. It was not as special anymore and i started to skip some of them. I mean all parties were held at the same place, and had a similar structure and like i mentioned MANY times, having loud boom boom music plastered into my hear with not much way to avoid it really was not a lot of fun to me. Thats why i enjoyed when there was "2 rooms" available, one for the party fun music loud stuff, one for more personal conversation and such. I get that young ladies love loud music and club ambiance, but to me the point of these party is getting to know them a bit more and see if chemistry is there, and its hard when you can barely chat.
Anyway "i digress" as they say in the US, but after a while i started missing them and started to go back more. Then the house party happened like i said and i loved it so much.
Last party i attended was the Unicorn second (i think?) party. As "funny-unfunny" it may sound, while previous parties sometimes where too crowded for a small room, this one had a very large room (plus exterior) and not a lot of guest (Both male and female) so it felt a bit ...empty. Altough i can't explain the low level of participation from the ladies (as these party were always free for them, correct me if im wrong) i think the entry fee may have turned down a few male clients. The GG (then VIP) parties started at 25$ entry and by the last i attended, i think the fee was 60 bucks. And you had to buy the beer there too still.
Now don't get me wrong, it was still a cozy nice evening and talking to Sonia again, also taking lots of pics of her (but with her phone so i didn't get to keep them lol) was very fun, the food was great, and i still had "fun" but it was no "old time parties".
I think for the party to work again (and this is just MY personal POV) they would need to happen sporadically but be a big event. Like 3 times a year max, maybe even 2. Multiple agencies present (or one big one with 75% of their roster at least), lots of indies also present, entry fee more around the 25/35$ unless its open bar , and obviously a nice place to host it. Im not too aware of the best places in or around Montreal and how complicated it may be. But a private house or chalet (summer time, with beach acces) would be my top pic personally. I think depending on the size it could hold enough guest. It could also be "open bar" for a larger still reasonable fee or even be a "BYOB" party. Otherwise if renting a "gathering room", i think it would be important to have what i mentioned above.
As for putting your name on the "rental", well remember that nothing "racy" has to happen there. I mean 80% of the parties i been didn't had private meetings of any kind (and the few that had were in PERSONAL places) . As far as i know its not illegal to host a "gathering of friends" and altough yes the number of pretty ladies vs older or "less attractive" gents (yes im including myself in this lol) may seem a bit odd for an outside source, if things go smooth and the venue makes money (on beer sales and rental etc), they won't care.
Personally i could be a bit tempted to actually volonteer to organize one... I have (i think) a good reputation with the guys here, most of the agencies know me for a while, and despite not knowing a "ton" of indy i think some well known could vouch for my honesty too.
My idea for these party would be a return to the source of what made them great in the first place, but at the same time trying to expend and improve on some aspect.
But obviously i would need the backing of at least one manor agency and several well known indies, because without the girls, well... the guys won't show up lol. Elementary as they would say.
Im glad Sam answered in this thread, he made valid points, some ladies do want to remain more discreet and thats why i think the venue no matter what would need to be US and just us. So discreet.
i am fully aware tough that agencies like Xo and Euphoria run 100 miles an hour already, they don't "need" these parties to have business, so it would have to be out of their good will if they would participate. But one thing for sure, i wouldn't want to do it for huge monetary gain personally.
Fees would be to cover the expenses. I would totally want the return of the prizes too (win a free 30 mins or free hour or such) and they could help cover that.
And some may disagree with this, but i would personally cut on the stuff that is not nessessary. Why not ask YOU guys what you want?
Just an exemple. For instance would you prefer foods to be included and pay more, or pay less and no food. Ill be honest i would eat some personally because it was included in the price, and like i said some of these parties it was great too, great food, but i could had go had diner before the party and not need to eat there, especially not while drinking beer. Just my personal opinion. And by food im talking sandwich and actual food, there could always be some chips and bretzels or such.
Anyway, im just throwing stuff there for the sake of conversation, so don't get too exited (lol) and please don't flood my DMs, i only have a few spots open at the moment But if some peoples are SERIOUS about this (agencies, indies, investor guys) let me know and i could send you my email.

That party was in October 2013- over 6 years ago- and was in a large condo that had been rented jointly by Iggy, JoeT and Reverdy, if I recall correctly. At some point Halloween Mike disappeared into one of the bedrooms with Kate for a long period of time. My memory is of Iggy and JoeT standing in front of the closed bedroom door, and JoeT (who is not a serious looking or behaving person) looking at Iggy, with a dead fucking serious look, and saying, "what the fuck is going on in there???????????" It was the only time in my life I saw a serious look flash across JoeT's face, and I think it's why I have this memory.
These VIP and agency parties were SOOO important to me, as I don't speak much French and it gave me a few minutes of face-to-face conversation with the attending ladies... I always wound up meeting several of the ladies a few weeks later, based on the good impression they made at the party. We gentlemen are lucky to have so many choices in Montreal, it can be hard to choose a lady based only on her photos and reviews. I'm from out of the area and always made a special trip to Montreal to attend the party. I have NO PROBLEM with pre-screening the gentlemen attendees; in fact I'd prefer it if each gentleman was required to have a reference from a lady he had already met. Any agencies reading this, please invite me to your next party!!

LOL !! Yeah. That day i was supose to see Kate, had planned an incall with Mike but for some reasons it didn't worked (Kate didn't made it). Mike invited me to his place tough and it was fun, a few of the girls were there and we talked. I almost decided to see Brooke for a second time that day instead as she was hanging at Mike's place, I still remember her getting ready for a client and she was wearing a black dress and her make up was top notch. Smoking hot, but by that point it was getting late.
Anyway, ended up not seeing anybody in the afternoon and rather help a bit with some of the party stuff and going at Iggy's place earlier. During the evening (and during the party) Mike comes to me and ask me to follow him, he get Kate and bring us to the room. Can't remember his exact words but that was long the line of "have fun" and he leaves us along. LOL. I was pretty drunk by that point, had drink a lot, had way too much cake too (those cakes were so good), and i wasn't "fresh" either. I mean i peed already plenty of time from all the beer. Anyway so i took a shower as Kate was waiting for me in the room.
Then well... you don't need a plan to know what happened next. It was amazing. She was my favorite and it was our 7th meeting, we were having sex during a party wich remind me of those frat movies i love so much, and even tough i was a bit nervous because there was no lock on the door, peoples were respectfull and didn't burst in. Thanksfully for me because im no Reverdy and i wouldn't be able to continue lol.
Overall it remain one of my best memories in the business really.

I was with Iggy when the police questioned him so I heard part of the conversation, Iggy told the officer exactly what was going on and that it was an Escort/Stripper party organized by him and that nothing illegal was going on, the officer stated that their main concerns were under age girls and overcrowding for fire safety regulations, they proceeded to check out ID's of a few girls and made sure that the bar was not over the legal limit for people, they also checked that the liquor license was valid and then bid farewell, the very successful and fun party continued into the wee hours of the morning and many more successful parties were organized afterwards, so much for C-36.
The only other time that there was an issue was when the owner of a small condo found out that there was a party in his condo where parties were prohibited, the reason he found out was because the owner lived down the hallway from where the party was happening so he heard all the noise, he then had the the manager of the place come knocking at our condo and asked us to leave right away, as I am a terrible negotiater I began to think who amongst us would be a good negotiator and that is where I came up with the brilliant idea of EB who negotiated with the manager to give us a little bit of time to leave which he did, it also allowed us to finish watching reverdy perform his entertaining acting skills in the bedroom(well done Beav).:thumb:
Again C-36 has absolutely nothing to do as to why no one has organized a major VIP event since iggy left, the real reason is because it's an aweful lot of time consuming work, emailing, looking for places, negotiating with the owner, sending a gazillion emails, txt msgs, pms, phone calls, scouring the interent and sending cold invites, hiring staff and repeating the same procedures 4-5 times to the same people just to make sure that they would come, etc, this is not easy and that is why nobody wants to organize a major VIP party, past ones were a success solely because of the extremely hard work and dedication of one individual who at the same time absolutely loved and enjoyed doing it, also the owner of the bar was always told in advance during the negotiating what kind of a party was being organized as Iggy did not want to run into any problems for the parties, so much for Big Bad C-36.
hungry101 - Why do you continuely bring up GG5 and Tiffany(one of my biggest regrets), you know that I still have nightmares about her, LOL.
I liked all of the parties but a few stood out, the one where Anna Nikova did a full nude strip dance for everybody with Halloween Mike providing the awesome microphone skills, we had to cover the windows of the bar with paper so no one from the outside could see the show.:thumb:
Also there was the party that was raided by the cops, sexy judy came to the party a few minutes after the police arrived, she had no idea what was happening, as she entered the bar she saw a policeman standing by himself monitoring the party, Judy thought that the policeman was a party invitee and that the uniform was a costume, she then proceeded to do a sexy dance in front of him when I saw what she was doing I quickly went up to her and grabbed her by the arm and pulled her away, I then whispered in her ear that the guy was a real policeman and for her not to go anywhere near him, she was absloutely shocked to say the least.
And I agree 150 percent, Sexy Judy is the most fun, free spirit person that I have ever been around, a real party animal, just say the word party and she is there.:thumb:

Also there was the party that was raided by the cops, sexy judy came to the party a few minutes after the police arrived, she had no idea what was happening, as she entered the bar she saw a policeman standing by himself monitoring the party, Judy thought that the policeman was a party invitee and that the uniform was a costume, she then proceeded to do a sexy dance in front of him when I saw what she was doing I quickly went up to her and grabbed her by the arm and pulled her away, I then whispered in her ear that the guy was a real policeman and for her not to go anywhere near him, she was absloutely shocked to say the least.
And I agree 150 percent, Sexy Judy is the most fun, free spirit person that I have ever been around, a real party animal, just say the word party and she is there.:thumb:
