What is social media, it's a way for regular people to show other people that there lives are fantastique and amazing. While they are not.

I knew this guy from high school and added him to my facebook, he came to me for help on dieting and training since i been bodybuilding for a very long time.

He kept posting funny post and entertaining stuff on is facebook for is 1000 plus friends, and one day he message me asking me if i had suicidal thoughts, and how he could get off that huge depression he was in. From is social media posting and presence who would have through.

He recently broke up with a girl and he announce this on is facebook, as you might have notice me and that girl have parted ways like your personal life is public knowledge for everyone to read.

The moral of this story is that social media is bad, you get there and you compare yourself to others, its like online dating, wow i want to be like this guy he gets a lot of woman, and you start to see all those things because everyone's life is better than yours and then you start to develop low self esteem and a inferiority complex.

Social media as done nothing positive for the human race, tik tok instagram is all fake, that Bresilien fitness model who died with clenbuterol cytomel and anavar in her system claimed to be nature and used only the products she was selling.

Facebook is not so bad if you limit your friend circle to people you actually, i once had lots of so called friends on facebook mostly people i knew and never ever saw again since high school.

I help a few with computer issues, training etc, but in 2009 when i lost my job i had a house to pay and was struggling, a few of those so called friends were working in good companies. No one offered to help me, give me your cv i will give it to my boss. They all said so sad sorry etc.

I realized that my facebook was packed with vampires ready to suck you dry and give you nothing in return so i deleted my account and created another facebook account, i have less than 10 friends in there and its people i see outside my job, we go out, wechat and keep updates on each other.

I do not have an instagram account at my age i lift weights but its to keep fit and try to avoid arthritis and all the damn disease that come with aging. No tik tok and no online dating accounts either.

Moreover, a colonoscopy is less intrusive than a GAFAM application.
Colonoscopies are not that bad, my first one several years ago probably saved my life when the doctor found a cancerous polyp just starting and removed it immediately.

Yes but still intrusive. It is just an image to show how these platforms collect your personal info...

I know it's just a technicality but pegging is supposed to be anlot less intrusive and a lot more fun than a colonoscopy!

Intrusion can happen in many ways, pegging being one of them.

I had a beautiful Filipina Nurse in real life remove a catheter I had in my P-hole after surgery. She said to me I am here to remove your catheter, my jaw dropped at how beautiful she was and my mind began racing with perverted thoughts. I recall saying to her exactly what I just said, "Some guys pay top dollar for this and I am getting it free of charge".

Needless to say, she was a woman of professional integrity and did not like my comment. She yanked the catheter in a not-so-gentle manner from my penis. I loved every minute of it!

My Father recently died of it, as well. I would advise all men over 45-50 to get a colonoscopy, it saves lives and further unwanted intrusions in the form of surgery.

Sorry to hear about your father, like i said, i have had 6 colonoscopy's, i go every 3 to 5 years, Same thing with me for the polyps. I love watching the doctors zap them with the laser and cut them out for a biopsy. No drugs for me, i watch the whole thing on the screen. Plus i like when the nurse puts her hand on my belly to help with the pressure. Last time, the nurses were talking about going to McDonalds for lunch.

Cancer runs in my family, my father died of lung and brain cancer, 2 uncles, lung cancer and one uncle colon cancer. Such is life, after watching my father wither away, I'm more afraid of living.

I'm ready for my next life, going to do things differently next time.

Live long and prosper.....

It's an interesting question to ponder. If all social media suddenly disappeared, there would definitely be some pros and cons. On the positive side, it might encourage more face-to-face interactions, reduce addiction, and mitigate the spread of fake news.
If you ever need an alternative way to share content or engage with others, platforms like TikTok have become popular for short-form video shares. You can check out options like TikTok video shares if you're interested in exploring that avenue.
Ultimately, the impact of losing social media would vary from person to person, and it's essential to balance its benefits and drawbacks.
My pet peeve on this is that insurance companies, and other companies like Apple are now using A1 in their Help Chats, so that instead of talking to a human, you are talking to a program. In a recent help chat with my health insurance company, I was trying to find out why various third party payments which were being made on my behalf by the manufacturer of a drug I am using were not being credited against my deductible (third party payments made on a medical bill on behalf of the patient count towards the patient's deductible under Connecticut law). I asked the question in a simple fashion, but the AI was not understanding it. Finally I was able to get a human on the phone who answered my question.

Similarly Apple is now using A1 in its help chats. So some of these social media advances are being used to severely limit human interaction, and as a result, it means just another area where AI is taking over and phasing out jobs that used to be done by human customer service reps.

As we have seen as well, especially in the Hamas-Israel thread, social media is being used by politicians to manipulate mass populations with imagery and words that lead the reader into drawing false conclusions. Since many of the masses are sheep who are easily led by an online Shepard, the results of this political brainwash and manipulation is evident even in that thread. This type of application of social media is very dangerous and scary.

This is not social media, social media is like facebook ,Instagram , tik tok, X formerly knowns as tweeter any plateforme like that and also online dating stupidity.

The thing you experience with your insurance is everywhere now, BestBuy chat, amazon chat hell even walmart chat. I order my grocery from walmart and ask to be left on the porch in front, the idiot delivery guy came but since no one was answering he pack the order back in is car and left. I had a lot of trouble reaching someone at walmart and that stupid AI chat did not help one bit.

But of course this will be implemented everywhere because if the ai chat can solve your issue they save money that way they don't have to hire more personal.

Yes social media like X (tweeter) can be used to spread false information but in return lots of accounts have been suspended and closed because of this so there are people paying close attention to what is posted on there.
