What music do you listen to when you're angry?

I am not a racist. The only thing I hate more than racial intolerance is the dutch. [Austin Powers movie joke], but I will admit that white power music is perfectly suited for when I get those genocidal rages. Even if my genocidal rage is directed at all of humanity and not narrow focused, it still works well.

That and Body Count with Ice T.

Born Dead is a very angry album. Just about every song is filled with anger and hate as well as killing someone.

For those time when you feel the pain and you just want to feel more.

If women got me down, nothing beats Jon Lajoie's Show me your Genitals 1 and 2.

Yanni would send me over the edge :). The others mentioned I will listen to tonight. If anybody else has recommendations, I'll take them too.

Thanks

I like Rage Against the Machine also but some of their songs are annoying. I have to create a playlist of the ones I like and avoid the others.
The Youtube link is a joke right? That is funny when you aren't pissed.
Rage Against the Machine sometimes.
Some other time, I want to feel other than angry and this clip does the trick to disarm

I had forgotten about Body Count. I had the CD, or was it the tape, when it first came out in 92.

I liked this album. I added to my collectio on RDIO. Not as loud as I was hoping but it is good music.
I listen to a band named Seven Mary Three http://7m3.com/
Their most popular and commercial song is Cumbersome. Damn good!

Thanks for the suggestions. I also like to listen to Trivium and Seether sometimes. Trivium has a good sound but the lyrics in a few songs are amateurish. Seether is not loud enough but they write better music.

Here's a good one from Seether. http://youtu.be/xMCFa_YAvsY (Strong language but I don't think anyone here will mind)

When the USA is getting ready to attack another sovereign nation I listen to this :

I don't, however it was the song that I thought of when you set it up. Not much for the Exploited when I am in anger mode. Sure it is fast and has energy but it all sounds like mumbling to me. Except for Sex and Violence. I can understand the lyrics, but my maternal unit always thought they were chanting "Kill Your Mother" over and over again. Which is odd as although she was a constant nag, I never showed any interest in that direction.

As for Born Dead by Body Count. Let me revisit why it is the prefect anger CD.

The songs
"Body Motherfucking Count" Generic intro
"Master of Revenge" Obvious
"Killin' Floor" Obvious
"Necessary Evil" IIRC a song about killing people because it is a necessary evil
"Drive By" Obvious
"Last Breath" [yes as it sounds]
"Hey Joe" about a guy who shoots his wife
"Shallow Graves" obvious
"Surviving The Game" Lesson, you won't, it is pointless.
"Who Are You" Who are you ... to judge me, get the fuck out of my face.
"Street Lobotomy" About killing yourself with the drugs
"Born Dead" About being born in a hopeless situation, already dead.

Ahh wonderful times. I ditched the CD ages ago and never bothered to get the MP3s. Maybe I should.

you can validate the anger with some good thrash music or you can question why anger in the first place? what does it accomplish? who does it hurt besides yourself?
It is reluctance and fear of accepting something we know to be true but refuse to admit.
The Dali Lama said anger is a sign of weakness - let it go and stop hurting yourself.

Djivan Gasparyan puts things into perspective for me
I couldnt find any links to any of his pure duduk music

maybe it will help put the anger behind you....maybe not

Who has two thumbs and no Tibet. ;) I call bullocks on his ideas on this regard. There are many rage worthy moments that have nothing to do with admitting truth.

Wallowing in anger is very worth it at times.

Talking about Seven Mary Three

Some of their songs are pretty loud. Does it have to be loud to make your anger go away?
Take the time to listen to Waters edge and Margaret from their first album. My favorites.
