Hey Sene, this thread is really great to make each other discover new bands. Glad you liked the Epica video.

Now you should watch this live performance of Ghost Love Score with Floor Jansen.

WOW I Love it, I love it.

it's grandiose. I have the shiver.

I would say it's a great sung symphony, modern times

Ghost Love Score is probably the pinnacle of symphonic metal. But there is a lot of other good songs and bands in that genre.

Nightwish is probably the most well known. They had 3 singers:
1. The first being Tarja Turunen. Great opera trained singer.
2. After the breakup with Tarja, they hired Annette Olzon but she did not have the talent that was needed to fully replace Tarja. Many people still liked her.
3. Then they hired Floor Jansen which was singing for other metal bands beforehand. She has by far the best voice in my opinion.

Edit: The term often used on hearing Floor Jansen singing is having a floorgasm :D

The Byrds, Eight miles high

My brother was a big fan of all of these bands. He had bought the same glasses.

Look behind you.
Rare Earth.. Hum Along and Dance.
Rare Earth is an American soul band affiliated with Motown's Rare Earth record label. Although not the first white band signed to Motown, Rare Earth was the first big hit-making act signed by Motown that consisted only of white members. (None of the previously signed all-white acts, The Rustix, The Dalton Boys, or The Underdogs, had any hits.)[3]

This weekend, August 08, we were already celebrating the 51st anniversary of the photo.
The Beatles photo on Abbey Road is one of the most famous in the history of music.

It's a legendary photo: John Lennon, Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney and George Harrison, crossing a pedestrian crossing in front of their recording studios on Abbey Road. The four Beatles, walking in unison, illustrated the group's last studio album, Abbey Road, named after this world famous street.
