The Beatles "I'm Happy Just To Dance With You"

I remember the 1980 Christmas party, where we had a theme in honor of the Beatles, and John Lennon who died on December 8th.
We had danced all night to Beatles hits.
There had also been slows, all of the Beatles.

The Beatles, Twist & Shout.

Performed live on The Ed Sullivan Show 2/23/64

Even though I was young, what wonderful memories.

The Beatles, I Should Have Known Better [rare film w/ rare audio]

Even their early songs had perfect structure, key changes and perfect harmony. Even the addition of the harmonica was brilliant and made the songs stand out.

The Byrds "Turn! Turn! Turn!"

On The Ed Sullivan Show, December 12, 1965.

I was young, and already I loved all the music of the time. As proof I had bought the singer's glasses: Roger McGuinn.

Bob Marley & The Wailers - Jamming (Official Music Video)

I love Bob Marley, one of the most worthy representatives of Reggae.

I have been to Jamaica twice. I was young, I had long hair, in short, as soon as I got off our bus, I got offered some Ganja.

[joeca]

Also a big fan.

Marley was ahead of his time, not just singing about palm trees and waves, he was Black Lives Matter in the 70's, popularizing a genre that no one would have otherwise listened to

RIP Charlie Watts!...Really sad to see him go!...He fit perfectly into the band as did all other members! Unlike many short-lived defunct rock'n roll'n bands the Stones had great chemistry!

The first time I ever saw Charlie Watts was on CBC in the video clip "It's only Rock'n Roll"...where he was drowning in soap bubbles! LoL!

...and yes that's no mistake...the 3rd guitarist (playing the red & white Fender Strat guitar) is the great Mick Taylor..."It's only Rock'n Roll" was the last Rolling Stones album to feature MickTaylor!
