What's a good tip?

When I visit my regulars, I usually tip. Not that much but like 20 or 30 bucks, max 50 for a couple of encounters that were amazing.

Anyways, the other day I was seeing an SP for the second time and had only the exact change. I don't remember if I tipped her or not the first time I saw her, it's been a while. And the service this time was not as good as the last time anyways and in my head I am already thinking probably the last time I am gonna see her.

Just before I left she mentions that she was disappointed that there's no tip and she implied that tipping is expected. I said sorry, will make it up to you next time and left, now quite sure I will never see her again.

And as far as I remember, this is the first time an SP counted the money in front of me, let alone omplain about the tip...

What do you guys think? Is a tip always expected? even when the service is subpar?

Have you read the thread? That’s exactly what it is about. Of course tip is always appreciated, but not expected by most SPs.

I think tipping is a good gesture if you're seeing sp's at spas and agencies because they get paid often low rates and have to deal with difficult working conditions (spas in particular).. I think if someone charges low rates there are reasons for it, and tips will be appreciated, but of course, no one is obligated to do so, please don't get mad at me for suggesting this

I think most providers will appreciate a tip no matter how much the amount is, and we do appreciate gifts! I tend to like gifts more than tips at the moment because I feel like I've reached a comfortable spot with my rates but it's always appreciated! Obviously I am not expecting diamond jewelry lol

I always provide a tip of $40 to $50 before the encounter, as I am confident that it will be a positive experience. Paying and tipping upfront has proven to be very beneficial for the remainder of the session. That's just my approach.

Clearly, I don’t engage paying upfront for the extra benefits. If that were my goal, I would be upfront about it from the beginning. I prefer to pay and tip in advance primarily to put the service provider at ease and eliminate any potential awkwardness. Trust me, service providers who work for agencies often won’t mention the desire for upfront payment, but it is always a relief for them when customers do. Additionally, there are some shitty agencies you might encounter on platforms like Leolist that automatically require upfront payment. In some cases, the driver even accompanies the service provider to collect payment because both the driver and the agency are aware that the service may not be satisfactory. Some may advertise a Girlfriend Experience, but in reality, they do not deliver on that promise. Hence, the driver collects the payment to mitigate the risk of any fallout.

No I have known the ladies I see for over 5 years I always tip up front and bring wine and pastries or snacks.
Why would I be trying to manipulate them they are always absolutely amazing we don’t manipulate each other.

Why always look on the negative side, besides aren’t you supposedly giving your best so how are you going to go above and beyond your best lol.

what would be manipulative is if somebody tips or brings a gift and then uses that as leverage to coerce you into doing things you don't want to do.. but that never happened to me, personally!

I tip at the end of our time together. Typically $50 or $60 depending on what denomination of cash that I have.

Exactly!!!
Some of us actually not only see ladies repeatedly but have formed a friendship and we genuinely care and like the ladies we see.
Small gifts and tips are just a way to show your appreciation for their kindness.
Giving it up front is more the trust you have with each other rather than them thinking all through am I doing well enough for him to see me again or to give me a tip.
There is no second guessing I know that every time I see them I will have an absolutely fabulous time.

I was unaware that such customers existed, who pay upfront and use that as leverage. These types of clients are akin to ticking time bombs, could potentially explode at any moment.

I didn't mean people who pay upfront and use that as leverage, I meant it could be POSSIBLE that a client offers a large tip upfront and then uses that as leverage later to cross boundaries.
I have never had that happen to me, but I'm sure it's happened before. That doesn't mean giving a tip upfront is not okay! The context is important.

If a client gives me more than my rate, I will let him know by leaving the money out next to his belongings. If he takes it back, cool if he gives it back to me cool but that way I don’t feel pressured.

It doesn’t happen often anyways, most will give me extra at the end of the session on their way out.

Some will even ask if it’s rude to tip before giving me more $$

That’s very different. I never question it when it comes from someone I know.

Sometimes when it’s an odd amount I wonder if it’s tip or miscalculation so that’s why I leave it out.

I tip upfront and at the end, usually in the form of some e-gift card or payment I’ll send after the encounter, often in parallel with my thank you note. Handing someone extra cash on the way out post-deed and post-pillow talk detracts from the “GFE” in my opinion. I like to get “business out of the way” first. I’ve never used the pre-tip as leverage or even referred to it but, okay, I can see it giving off an initial impression that I might. Nobody I’ve seen has mentioned it to me as being an issue (not yet anyway).
