What's the deal with Montreal SP's and hair extensions?

As an American, I will say that I have never met a woman who (as far as I know) had hair extensions

In Montreal, it seems like 50% of the SP community not only has them, but it proud to have them and discuss them. Last time I was in a bar, the female waitress was telling me how she was saving up.

Is this a Quebecois cultural thing? Is this a thing with the "21 and under" crowd? Or is this just something I have noticed and nobody else?

Hair extensions are fake hair added to medium length hair using little hooks. That's all I know.

I love sexy long black hair. Does it feel fake like a silicone boob can feel fake? Do the SP's that have extensions fus about them "Don't touch my million dollar extensions! Watch the extentions." Waht is the problem?

This is not new technology. Black women are well aware and use hair extensions since a very long time. There exist different techniques to extend hairs (for example: a special glue, hair can be clipped or sewed in. My wife is a black woman and I know eveything about hair extensions for the last 31 years (Damn I know all the hair supply shops in Brooklyn on Flatbush since 1985).

I can easily spot women with hair extensions. Can you feel it? If the hair are sewed in, you can feel it and it is not good. If the hair are glued you wont feel it; especially if the woman buy natural hair (and not synthetic) it looks and feels natural.

Now, concerning white Québécoises: maybe there is a larger proportion of girls using hair extensions (and not only escorts or SP; one of my colleage where I work said to me two weeks ago that she added extension in order to have longer and thicker hair) in Québec than in ROC or in New York because, in general, Québécois are more prone to take care of themselves.

it's more of an under-21 thing for quebecois girls...along with dying their hair "black".

or just dying their hair in general

lots of blonds I have seen who go bright red

and lots of dark hair (like you say) that go blond.....this includes Asian women

It is the current trend. Sps will adopt the latest trends and fashions first. Hooker boos were all over the place last winter, but are no longer considered slutty as there once were.

That's true. I correct myself: young, firm, pear-shaped and reasonably sized breast never go out of fashion. I like touching a woman's hair (maybe not as much as breast) so I prefer if both are natural
