When you buy your Coffee Out, where do you Go for a Quick Cup?

https://merb.cc/vbulletin/showthread.php?187231-Coffee-Coffee-Coffee

Here’s the real question, Tim hortons or Dunkin?

I like Dunkin and their Mobile App... DD Perks.
“Spend $1, earn 5 Points. Plus, bonus points along the way.
Redeem for Free Drinks. Every 200 Points.”

I wanted to fill the Poll with 10 Choices.
Maybe I missed some place(?).
You can only make 1 Choice, and the Votes are not Public”

My apologies for “too many” Polls.

I voted Starbucks because as a tea kinda girl I like matcha a lot and you can’t get that at tim Horton’s lol. If anyone knows where I can get amazing matcha let me know! I’ve only been drinking it for the past year or so. So I don’t know yet where to get the best I usually just go to Starbucks. But I love matcha so much!

When it comes to coffee I don’t buy it often but if I eat breakfast at Tim Horton’s sometimes I’ll order their iced coffee

I don't think these coffee places have good quality matcha. You can get good quality Matcha at Davids Tea or even Bulk Barn.It goes for about $70/lb, but look for coupons.

I think I have bought coffee at every single place listed in the poll accept Burger King.

I voted McDonald’s because they are probably my most frequently visited coffee provider with Dunkin second.

In Canada I stick with Van Houtte and Cafe Depot over Tim Horton and Second Cup. Although if it’s really cold outside I will go to whichever one is closest to the hotel.

Look behind you.
Starbucks is winning? You ever tired their regular coffee without the double choco frip with ground chutney and triple cream for flavor.
It sucks. McD has a decent coffee, far better than Tim's IMO.
How many of you voting drink double doubles or triple triple or some other ultra sweetener ( syrup or whatever ) added, that is not coffee. Taste is just like art and music, to each their own but coffee should be just coffee. $8 for something that looks like a dessert is not coffee... My rant for the day. Stay tuned, more will come.
Enjoy the day.

Thanks. Might have to go to David’s tea soon and try doing my own matcha at home! :)

Tim Horton's has surged into a tie with Starbucks, with McDonald's 1 vote back for 3rd and Dunkin 1 vote back for 4th. What a tightly contested race. Like the recent federal election in Canada, the outcome is uncertain.

7-11, Burger King, Cumberland Farms and Cafe Depot have failed to pick up a single vote and have essentially dropped out of the race.

As I mentioned above, Burger King is the only provider listed in the poll whose coffee I have not tried. I did go there for breakfast takeout once right after they rolled out a new breakfast menu, but stopped at McDonalds after for the coffee.

This franchise developed in the heyday of the 1970s through marketing of its signature burger product, a “flame grilled” burger known as the “Whopper.” They have tried to market their “Croissandwich” as their signature breakfast offering and are lesser well known for their coffee.

Jalimon,

The parent company of both Burger King and Tim Horton’s is Restaurant Brands International. Their status is they are both subsidiaries of a common corporate parent. They are the corporate equivalent of siblings. This group also owns Popeyes chicken:

One has to ask why Burger King isn’t selling Tim Horton’s coffee. Or are they? In which case BK and TH should be one category.

Are they ever late to the game!! I tough McDonald was too late when they took the coffee turn like what? 6-7 years ago? I am now very surprised at the quality of their coffee.

Now BK, Harvey's, Wendys forget it... It would be hard to associated these place for great coffee...

Cheers

I feel drinkers of decaf are discriminated against.... They get lower quality coffee and less choice. Some people just cannot drink caffeine but still like the taste of coffee!

I have tried some decaf as I don’t like to consume any caffeine after 12 noon, and I agree that the taste of the decafs generally suck compared to caffeinated counterparts. I just accept the poorer taste for my afternoon coffee.

^^^
I’m a bit late to this coffee thread , but anyways

So yea ,I drink it for the flavour . Why ? Well because my coffee these days is mostly weak Decaf so I drink it pretty much for the taste and not for the caffeine ,,, even though the flavour is not as good as the real thing obviously.
I used to be a “ serious “ coffee drinker , I really , really enjoyed it but I had to give it up as I was having difficulty going to sleep ( still do ) and drinking lots of it would keep me awake at night :(
But that’s just life and I had to adjust so now it’s only Decaf except for the occasional regular coffee here and there which I end up regretting sometimes because it deprives me of much needed sleep

The rare times that I get to drink real coffee my preference is ( single , long ) Italian espressos and I try to buy them from proper Italian cafes .
For my Decaf , which is approx. 10 times a month I almost exclusively use the Starbucks drive through. I know it’s still a shitty franchise but I guess I always found their coffee decent enough and a much better option than the rest

I understand that everyone has their preferences but me personally I could NEVER stand the flavour of the blend and taste of McDonald’s or Tim Ho’s coffee. Maybe it’s just the coffee snob in me , who knows really LOL
Even though I wouldn’t have a problem eating McDonald’s junk food or Tim Hortons frozen donuts , so go figure
